Description
Chimera Squad Version as of: 4/25/20

I ran into an issue where I'd have to end up copying 200MBs of animations just to adjust one animation for each of the 4 playable races (Human, Viper, Muton, Sectoid) when making weapons. Unlike XCom 2 or XCom 2 War of the Chosen, each weapon archetype needs additional animations for each race, and each race has a bunch of animations relevant to the weapon in one container.

This mod attempts to allieviate that issue by providing a common database for modders to use. I've already included some extra firing animations such as burst animations, firing animations with different timings, and some of the rifle animations I've used in the past for humans.

I haven't added in Primary secondary animations from Musashi as I'd need to adjust the animation a bit to match the ones in Chimera Squad.

Until I or someone can find a better solution, we're gonna have to rely on this.

If you want to add more animations, contact me on steam.

@Anajamois
Yeah it's just a modder's resource for modders to use for custom weapons. It doesn't do anything special by itself.

Cool. So this is a modder's tool, it doesn't actually do anything for you if you're not creating a mod? Just to be sure?

I imagine this mod may end up being a required item in the future mods you create though!
