Tree and Vehicle Props

解説
This mod creates a prop version of all trees and vehicles in the game.

It will create a prop version of every vanilla vehicle and/or tree, as well as workshop vehicles and trees, completely automatically.

For all my asset creator buddies, it also removes vehicle illumination maps so that your prop vehicles don't glow. If you don't know what this refers to, then don't worry about it :)

Notable things you can do with this:
• Rotate prop trees. Why randomly rotate when you can precisely rotate?
• Raise prop trees. Tree Snapping is now obsolete; its incompatibility with Unlimitied Trees can no longer stop you from raising trees to your heart's content.
• Create PO trees. What if you want something to be scaled up, or if you don't want X branch on this tree, or you want this car to be rotated, etc? Well thankfully for you, all the props created with this mod can be PO'd.
• Remove prop tree sway. Don't like the tree shader effects? Turn it off in the options.
• Get prop versions of vehicles that don't normally have them. Does your favorite vehicle have a prop version? No? Well now it does!

Unfortunately, due to how they are rendered, prop trees don't have LODs. Use ULOD to increase their render distance or convert them to POs if that's something that really bothers you.

i agree that the idea nehind this mod is clever, but it would be more useful if we could make a selection of which vehicles, models, etc should be generated as props.

DON't USE THE GENERATED PROPS in mods like BOB, Pocedural Objects or Intersection Marking Tool.

It's somehow logical and not an issue of these mods. Non Terrain Conforming Props as well as Tree & Vehicle Props are generated at a specific point in the loading process (they are not stored!) This means using these assets in mods, will lead to the issue that they cant be loaded, simply because they are not created at the moment the networks and other things are loaded.

Big mod! Congrats!
I've created some assets myself and one of the bothering things about it is to create the LOD models, independent PROPS and stuff. So this is amazing and practical!

WARNING
I think it's not recommend for everyone, specially for those playing on weaker hardwares or building big cities. That's because IMO people usually plop some PROPs of their favorite assets only, so transforming all your assets in props is heavy shit. Lots of useless stuff you'll never use.

@Rainwright With Procedural objects, first convert the prop to PO then click the little plus sign. Then choose the second tab which allows change of orientation.

If your game is crashing chances are that the conversion of so may props and trees has pushed you over your ram limit. Either increase your pagefile to x3 or unsub from a stack of assets. To check open up task manager click performance tab and watch your memory when he game is loading.
