Description
"Low-hanging fruit"

This mod adds in three new units to the game: War Altar of Morr, War Altar of Ulric, and War Altar of Myrmidia.

Description
The War Altar of Morr has a undead-debuffing aura and three casts of of the spell "Doom and Darkness". The War Altar of Ulric has a melee-buffing aura and three casts of a new spell "Blessing of the Blood-hand" which boosts melee damage but also gives the rampage attribute The War Altar of Myrmidia has a speed-boosting aura and three casts of "Eagle's Vision" which improves a units's ability to spot hidden enemies - marginally useful against Beastmen. All altars are fairly good melee combatants and have a psychology-cancelling aura.

The units are recruitable through the Temple building chain by any Empire faction. Not ideal, but adding in new buildings didn't seem worth it.

Might consider doing a Taal altar. Give me ideas!

Ulric seems significantly more useful and less situational than Myrmidias altar. Having such a rallying force to synergise with Lord's and Empire Captains/Priests in keeping the melee front line strong is super useful with the Empires focus on combined arms, and every part of the army empowering the other. Morr's has its niche use, but I don't really understand what the Myrmidia altar is supposed to accomplish in comparison?

Is it fast enough to keep up with heavy cavalry? Speed buffs are locked to their animation speed, eagles vision seems borderline useless.

With how long it takes to unlock the respective high tier building, it feels like Myrmidias altar could use a buff or rework of some kind in line with flavour or mechanics around the goddess surrounding tactics, formation and strategy. Perhaps a cavalry specific buff so that Empire Knights and Reiksguard can have a late game use with Griffons, and will synergise with Blazing Sun knights if you own the dlc?
