Architect Bloodline Disease Fix

Beskrivelse
If you have forged the Architect bloodline by building 10 cities with the Forge a Bloodline ambition, you have likely noticed that the buildings it unlocks are supposed to provide disease resistance. You have also likely noticed that the disease resistance does not actually work.

Sadly, disease resistance only applies to counties from hospitals and great works. Enter this mod: It adds two new hospital buildings as a workaround. These new buildings are identical to the buildings produced in cities by the bloodline, but does not provide the economic and military aspects of the buildings, just the disease resistance.

Q: "Is Paradox going to fix this bug at some point?"
A: Since they haven't fixed it yet, probably not.

Q: "Does this let you get 100% disease resistance?"
A: Yes! With a fully upgraded hospital and a tier 4 Great Gardens wonder in the county, your capital can now be safe from epidemics even if you are fully prospering!

Q: "Why do these new buildings still have build costs? Isn't it enough that I have to pay for the buildings in my cities?"
A: The city buildings provide a huge amount of extra gold, and I can't make the hospital buildings require the city version.

For some odd reason I keep finding that hospitals keep resetting after I open a new save. Is this a new bug?

@Spelios - thanks for the mod. It seems to me that the bug is caused by insufficient checking of disease_defence parameter. It takes it only from files 00_hospital.txt, 00_event_modifiers.txt, 00_wonders.txt, 00_wonder_upgrades.txt, however ignores 00_buildings.txt. I didn't find any way to change the behavior, so I'll just use your mod. In current campaign I have several provinces with 4 or 5 cities, which would give much higher resistance than just one in hospital, but still much better than nothing. Thank you!

After coming back to my save file, the hospital buildings reset, so I couldn't keep the second line of upgrades for the hospital, so just one hospital instead of two.

Ahh, well thanks for the answer and this mod will be quite useful.

The bug has not been fixed, and at this point I would not expect it to be. This is probably the closest to a fix we will get, unless someone manages to pull some techno-wizardry in a different mod.

Oi, has this bug been fixed yet or is this mod still applicable?

The bloodline ordinarily allows you to build a series of buildings in cities that provide benefits such as tax income, tech spread, and army morale. It is also supposed to apply disease resistance and a +2 boost to your trade post cap. The trade post cap applies if it is in your capital holding, but disease resistance only applies from wonders and hospital buildings. As such, I added hospital buildings to work-around this problem.
