bless you, kind stranger. the hive will not forget your contributions.
Thanks for the quick response.
No, I have yet to find any other missing things. I did realise it's likely a mod conflict, so I moved it all the way down the load order. Sadly, no change.
Thank you also for the info on the forked mod, I'm currently swapping out this one for that one and hopefully it can fix my problem.
Are any other items from the mod missing?
I know one playthrough, I had all of the campfires not be available, so I had no easy way to dry cactus and greenfruit. I can only guess a mod conflict was the isssue.
I think this mod simply modifies one of the base game food storage, which may cause said changes to be overwritten by other mods that alter the same food storage. A simple fix, make sure this mod is below any other food mods you might have.
There is a forked/updated version of this mod, "Biome Food Expansion (continued)"
It includes dedicated food storage for food items from this mod, and also some changes to improve balance.
Check the link from Midnight Nix, it leads to the forked/updated version of this mod.
I have read through the past 4 years of comments and I find that apparently there is 1 storage medium that should work. The "Food Store".
When building, or Shift+F12 spawning it in, it does not store soup. No container stores soup. I love this mod, I do, but a lot of the content I cannot play with since without storage there's no way to automate.
I would say it is not normal.
I do not recall spices taking 'that' long to make.
Sounds like something is hindering production.
A few things come to mind, to check for.
Low power slowing down powered crafting stations like the cooking stove.
A possible bottleneck in production of ingredients. (e.g., raptors eating some crops and/or the farmers, or a lot of an ingredient that also takes a long time to make. 4x crop drying campfires FTW)
A worker with a low skill
A worker's job priorities causing issues.
A navmesh issue or other obstacle causing workers to regularly get 'stuck' (more evident with fast runners who keep 'over shooting' where they are going and getting hung up on nearby obstacles trying to get turned around)
Yes, it can be made.
It should be unlocked by the research for Cooking, based on what I see when poking around the mod files.
