***Can be used in custom nations!

Adds Tier 1 infantry and cavalry units for the Extended Timeline mod for the following countries:
  • Rashidun
  • Umayyad
  • Abbasids
  • Fatimids
  • Cordoba
  • Egypt
  • Seljuks
  • Rum
  • Khwarezmia
  • Syria
  • Mosul
  • Sicily (Muslim)
  • Crete (Muslim)
  • Bari

These units are not meant to be the most historically accurate units, since they are DLC units that have been redesigned based on units of the time periods to replace vanilla units in Extended Timeline, and add a bit more historical and graphical flavor to the game.


Many more unit packs for Extended Timeline are also in the works (hopefully requiring less DLC), with themes such as the Roman Empire and the Crusades, so please leave a rating so I know if you're interested in more!

@neit Unfortunately the DLC is required. I think I can add some animations of my own for the walking, but the camel animations will require the DLC since they are just reskins of DLC models.

No, maybe that's the issue. I assume these kind of mods won't work without the DLC?

@neit Thanks for letting me know. Just to make sure, some of the animations are from the Mare Nostrum Unit Pack DLC, like the walk animations and the camels. Do you have that DLC activated?

the model is bugged out, it also lacks the walking animations

@Drago Duval I should also mention, while units with Extended Timeline specific countries like Rashidun won't appear in vanilla countries, you can still use the model sprites in custom nations.
