More immersive names based on Latin and Greek.

Psiloi (formerly Irregulars)

Symmachoi (formerly Foederati)

Numerus Limitaneorum (formerly Auxiliares Legio Limitanei, with the swords)

Lanciarii Limitanei (formerly Limitanei Spears)

Numerus Militum (formerly Skutatoi, with the swords)

Numerus Isaurum (formerly Skutatoi axemen)

Skoutatoi (formerly Skutatoi Spears)

Phoederatoi Doryphoroi (formerly Pseudocomtitaenses, with the spears) 

Phoederatoi Spatharioi (Auxiliares Pseudocomitatenses, with the swords)

Yes, you are absolutely right, Promachoi would be the Greek version. Any names mod in the sixth century will always end up with a mash-up of Greek and Latin names, because both were used. We chose Latin names mostly, since they may be more familiar to most players, were still officially used by the ERE army, and because Justinian was one of the last big fans of Latin in the ERE.
