The Northern Province

Description
𐌽𐍈𐍂𐌕𐋏𐌄𐌽 𐌓𐍂𐍈𐠨𐌆𐌽𐌂𐌄

The Northern Province is inspired by New Caledonia island.

This map is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon. On his land, large forests, and especially a large nickel reserve in the moutains. I added oil for the gameplay.
The tropical ocean climate is temperate and very sunny. This is why the north part is desiccated. The central and eastern part are more humid and fertile.

- 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤
Regarding the road network entrance, there are two connections to the south (South West and South East). A tunnel (out of the play area) allows the flow of traffic East and West not to cross the city unnecessarily. As a result, only the vehicles of the city circulates on the circuit.

- "𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫"
For the dried river, if you want to recreate the river ( with a water outlet for exemple ), i recommand to use " Extra Landscaping tools", to regulate the water source. ( Leave as is, the evacuated water will be sucked )

If u have low FPS, dont subscribe for the norfolk tree.

Theme used for the screenshots : Rhinestone island v1.0.5
LUT : Temperate ( included with the game )

Let me know if you want to try this map into a vanilla map ;)

Let me a comment, if u dont like my work too. I would like to know why :)

Around 50hours on it ! no job = try hard on Cities Skylines

@supernintendo, i confirm that the DLC with the disasters is working, a tsunami just reach my city :)
U should enable the disaster button in the option.

Awesome map! Just a question: does this mod affect disasters from happening? I am at 20000+ pop and no disasters yet. Wondering if it's not compatible with that expansion.

The path from the little island at the center upwards the mountain is so obvious that you've designed it for hiking.

I'll check the south hiking path, not sure if I can access it though (i play with 25 tiles as 81 tiles gave me problems). Thank you too for the map. Hopefully I can consistently churn out vids every week :D

Hi there! Would like to say thank you very much for the map. I decided to use your map to start my Youtube build series based on Southeast Asian cities. The mountain waterfall sealed the deal for me to use your map, I have ideas to make a hiking trail up top in a (super) later episode in the future, leading to a mountain lake halfway to the summit - based on Indonesia's Mt. Semeru (and its lake, Ranukumbolo)

Here's the YT episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhQ9o8vw5L4 , I modified some parts of the terrain a bit, hope you don't mind. Again, thank you for the awesome map!
