Update: Province events use now the bigger layout too.

The original version forces the game to use big event boxes for events, who originally use normal sized ones.

This version additionally changes events, who already use the big textbox layout in the original game (like narrative events), and replaces them with a double page style. Especially for non english versions this might be helpful, since the translation sometimes even surpasses the borders of the big textboxes in the unmodded game (see the pictures using the german translation).

Hello, I’ve found the “eventwindow.gui” txt file but I don’t understand the instructions for what to do with it next (I can’t find the lines “# Original Long” nor “# Bookstyle”). Could someone please help me? :)

For anyone wanting to use this with
even biggerinterface making them compatible is simple enough, other wise you get event window cut off and the option not sat on the scroll graphic.

Both mods come in Zips, so either know how to edit AND save Zip contents/files, or, unpack/unzip both mods zip files.

Both folders have a sub folder called interface, open eventwindow.gui.txt from both.
Copy the complete first 2 entries from the bigger EVENTS txt file, they are commented
# Original Long and # Bookstyle event window, The 2 entries end on roughly line 768.

The same 2 entries in the same file, but from bigger INTERFACE, end on roughly line 790. Delete them both, and paste in the entries from the EVENTS file.

Save! Now we pack them into zips, or check the zips have save depending on how you decided to work.

Simples.

So usually it worked for most parts. But unfortunatelly it would crash on desktop during some event (I think it was a birth) instead of showing the text window, so I had to remove it again and live with the occasional missing lines. Maybe that's something Dratoran can fix at some point. By the way, I used no other mods.

Not compatible with bigger interface, use the same "eventwindow.gui". I don't even know what's the changes are...
