Description
Is the movement penalty included in weapons from Lyetzi's Gunners Mod frustrating? This mod removes it for you, so you can keep running without needing to holster your guns.

This mod was built for version 1.0.8 of Lyetzi's Gunners Mod, as well as any addons of that mod. It is unlikely that this will affect FFS, but this may still affect the older Gunshops mod.

This mod replaces each of the base gun lua files, which are where the speed reduction is set and applied, specifically between the 10smg guntype and the 40lmg guntype. Guns larger than that will still have a speed reduction, which seemed fair when developing this mod. This method means that it will affect most guns from addons. Additionally, if playing without a mod that removes access to it, this mod will, remove the "Cautious" status effect from the mission.


⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀— Technical Information —
The gun types 10smg to 40lmg, as mentioned above, have all had their movement penalty values set to 0, effectively eliminating the penalty entirely. 50hmg keeps it's 50% reduction to speed, since guns using that size do actually need it to make sense (plus like no guns use it), and 100_cantmove keeps it's full movement dampering due to the fact that removing that could break weapons designed to use it, if they even exist.

Got around to updating this one. It now directly replaces the weapon's lua files, which makes the mod work with most addons to Lyetzi's' Gunners. As I said, as long as I am credited, feel free to port this to FFS.

I don't use FFS, so I won't be making the version of this mod for it. However, once I update it (eventually) to patch in a much more straightforward way, I will not attest others using it to create an FFS version as long as I am credited. As for the second thing, that request can be better accomplished through Bam's request.

Just remove the prepare animation for shooting. Its horrible. Burst fire is impossible.

What error does FFS even have with RPG Growth. I've used both for a while and haven't seen any big errors. The only one I know of is basically surviving death and becoming immortal. Immortal until you die of starvation. If you can't die of starvation, then for the entirety of the game, you will not be able to die, however you cannot use energy (energy can still be used but it will not regenerate normally). -quitting the game or entering a dungeon won't get rid of the effect.
