MP 41 (Maschinenpistole 41)

After yet another long wait (I had to spend a lot of time working on things for Project WWI) and a short, albeit mentally painful development process, the requested MP 41 is here! Please excuse the poor animation quality, this is my second attempt at a non-basic animation. I may also, if I have the time and willpower, create more ♥♥♥♥ German sub-machine guns.

The Maschinenpistole 41 (Machine pistol 41) is a derivative of the (in)famous MP 40 submachine gun, which became the preferred weapon of Germany's military during the Second World War.

It was an accurate, reliable gun platform (atleast when compared to its Allied counterparts) which proved useful in close quarter battles - though it suffered from bullet feeding issues as troops would use the magazine as a fore grip (I have committed this atrocity during animation) which dislodged the magazine from the feed lips.

The MP 41 itself was put into service in 1941, three years after the MP 40 made its original debut. The design of the weapon itself was not much different from the original MP 40, though it lacked the folding stock and instead featured a fixed wooden stock and lower receiver. The weapon was almost exclusively used by the Waffen SS, though it found plentiful service in the Romanian army which was a member of the Axis powers until their government was overthrown in August 1944.

• The left hand phases through the weapon at the end of the reload animation (may have been something I missed in Blender while animating, though It could be a Unity import issue).
  
• Third person placement of the gun isn't great.
  
• Draw sounds seem to have a quite a range, despite it being decreased. (If you have any feedback or issues with sounds, please let me know)
