- OR you can get you territory being recognized through diplomacy (you need to be friend, or asking during a peace treaty);
- Rivers and mountains act as natural borders. Also luxury,strategic resources, Great people improvements, roads and forts cannot be seized. So you can play with them to prevent your territory from being seized.
