DG 2445

This livery is based on another member of the New Zealand Railways DG class, specifically DG 789.

This locomotive was built in 1956 by the Vulcan Foundry (which was owned by English Electric), entering service in December of that year. She was re-numbered as DG 2445 in 1979 - as part of the Traffic Monitoring System - and was withdrawn from service in February 1983, being written off and scrapped in August 1986.
