nZombies Afterlife

Description
The Afterlife feature from the map Mob of the Dead, from the game Black Ops II: Zombies, intended for use in the nZombies gamemode.

Features
  • A tool for setting the max amount of afterlives and turning the feature on/off altogether.
  • Switchboxes that you can use to access afterlife without losing perks.
  • Voltmeters that fire outputs to other entities when zapped.
  • Integration with Hammer keyvalues and I/O.
  • A weapon for use in Sandbox.

Voltmeters have the following inputs:
  • TurnOn
  • TurnOff
  • ActivateInRadius (turn on perks and open doors in the specified radius)
  • DeactivateInRadius (turn them off/close them)
  • OpenDoorLink (open doors with the specified link)
  • CloseDoorLink (close them)
And outputs:
  • OnActivate
  • OnDeactivate

If you want to set an entity to only be visible to players who are alive or have become ghosts, you can set the keyvalue "AfterlifeVis" to 0 (both), 1 (ghosts only) or 2 (living only).

Players in Afterlife will spawn on Special Zombie Spawners



NOTE: For this addon to work properly, you must delete (or rename) gamemodes/nzombies/entities/entities/whoswho_downed_clone.lua in your nZombies folder.

I know it was originally designed for nzombies, but could you configure it for a sandbox? Same admin control panel for this one. pls :) If you could, that would be awesome

I do support Rezurrection and personally know and love the devs. They also have a great sense of what's fun to play, but:

Rezurrection takes more hard drive space than all of CoD:WAW, and that's without any maps to play on. Also, "if it's throwing error messages, it's working" is not a nice thing to hear from any dev, and that's a direct quote from Laby (though he probably changed his mind during our chat with Hoff). To people with beefy computers, this is not an issue, but to me it's game dev ASMR triggers... of pain.

For me, installing the content was never an issue, but I can imagine as a developer that in addition to the shit code would suck to work with. Either way, as a player, Rezzurection is just more appealing

My gripe with Rezurrection is that all it's content needs to be installed, even if you're not gonna use most of it. The code is also... better than Yandere Simulator, but worse than TF2. We assembled a team to deal with these issues, but time is not in our favor right now.

bro nzombies unlimited sucks and it hasn't been updated in ages
nzombies rezzurections has way more content and is consistently updated
just play that instead

I'm sorta acting like the playtester for this but the door issue has been successfully patched, the particles are still broken

all known bugs so far:
- breaks the nzr ui
-revive animation broken
-particles and doors broken (might be fixed now, idk)
-lose points after revive
