Historically Accurate Late Roman Names

Description
* Better Version of this concept here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1593974955 *

Flavius was by far the most commonly used "forename" by the Romans of Attila's period. I changed the frequency of Roman forenames in the names list so that only Flavius will appear. This may not be 100% accurate but it's certainly more accurate than the base game in which after the start of the game almost no new Roman will have the forename "Flavius."

Flavius means blond.

@Willelmus I was aware of the fact that Flavius was not the exclusive name used, but I figured that most of the named Roman characters are either going to be part of the Imperial dynasty or close to them, plus I want my ruler's sons to at least inherit that praenomen, if nothing else. Unfortunately, I'm not skilled enough at modding to implement a system where children actually inherit names from their father, much less one like you described. I don't know if this is something even veteran modders could implement with the tools avaiable.

Truth be told, Flavius was not really a given name, more like a title.

The Roman trianomina had evolved to the point in which the cognomen was funcioning as the given name, and only rancid aristocrats used proper praenomen and nomen forms anymore (like Quintus Aurelius Symmachus), since most Roman citizens were former "barbarians" romanised legally after Caracalla's edict, and culturally... much later.

Flavius was more like a title, meaning something like "high official" or "I'm prestigious enough, yall!".

Probably you already know all that. Thanks for the mod, I'l definitely be using it.

I'd really like to see a mod that allows my family names to change like the Romans did. Constans had Constantius Chlorus, who had Constantine, who had Constans and Constantius... Julius Constantius had Julian (the Awesome Apostate), while Valens and Valentinian were brothers. This "Aragon son of Arathorn" cadency is something I really like about Roman names.

Do you plan on adding names other than Flavius?

Many Aramaic families were Romanized, I think the name could have exist in Roman Empires, but i am still searching for a source now too. I can tell you as a student and teacher of latin language, the form is possible.
It doesn´t have to refer any Jewish topic

Yes, that's apparently a "Roman" name in Attila. I suppose it comes from the Jewish term "Talmud" but upon looking it up I've never seen a single historical Roman or person with a Latinized name to ever have the name "Talmudius." I might even end up taking it out as part of the mod

Talmudius?? XD

I know Theodosius and Aetius are already names that can appear for the romans, and they're not considered "forenames" in this game, they go second. The purpose of this mod however is not to include historical characters that aren't already in the game, it's just to make sure that the Roman characters have the correct forename "Flavius." So if my faction leader's name is "Flavius Arcadius Augustus" his son doesn't end up being named "Lucius Talmudius Vettius," which is actually what happened to me in my last ERE game and what drove me to make this mod
