Description
Innovative Improvements to AutoResolve for Modders
1) It gives humans, and only humans, the advantage in autoresolve battles of all kinds without weakening AI vs AI battles in any way.
2) It is only activated with the aggressive strategy button, enabling players to engage with the AI on equal terms when they wish.
3) The AI does not realize that you have this special ability and will not hesitate to attack when they think they are at an advantage (still testing this ).
4) Narrows the randomness window to under 2%. What you see in the bar is what you'll get unless you use the cheat.
5) Compatible with any mod, even autoresolver mods.

When to use the button? In attacking a settlement, assume that the bar is misleading you about 5% so you need typically need a 5% bonus on the autoresolve bar to win. With this mod, you can win that assault even if it appears you have a 10-15% minority.

I estimate that the bonus is 5-7% stronger against weak melee stacks because the aggressive resolve trait compounds with the 20% handicap on the AI.

Directions
Go to battle
Choose aggressive in battle strategy options.
Win if your advantage over powers their penalties.
In the screenshot, 15 tests showed that the player wins 100% of the time using the mod and loses 100% without the mod.

It is estimated that the penalty against the AI is about 20%.

Note: Pressing the aggressive button will usually get your butt kicked so only use neutral without this mod unless you are mostly melee troops vs. a missile army.

I can't get around with modding that aggressive kills cav when enemy has spears. This mod is best with melee /skirm army. My newer mod works better with cav armies.

I agree. This old mod does have one primary value that improves things about 80% of the time but only by about 3-5% most of the time. I have a newer mod that works with the defend button that is more effective. I am working on another version that is even more effective.
I agree there needs to be a way to play the game autoresolving 75% of battles. You are at a 10% penalty by they way they programmed it but it's not simple to reverse this without a great deal of testing.

Hey ! First, thank you very much for you answer !
And my bad, I have tested it again and yes it's working ^^
I was looking onto the mod files to make the effect stronger but I don't know which value change. I guess that there is not one value which can generally buff the final result of the entire autoresolve ?
I'm tired to have to play manualy battle where I can crush the IA... It's a really big lose of time

What is not working? Why do you say it isn't working? I can find time this weekend maybe. What version of AE are you using?

Hey ! I tried the two version on the mod with ''ancient empire'' but it's not working. Do you know if there is a way to fix it ? Thanks ;)

I could release an even more amped up version of this mod? Eventually, you should be able to solve those problems without it. An army with traditions and a good general can handle the huns using my recent https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2072752935 bugfix mod. They get absurd bonuses to firing that are a bug.

I like the mod, But I would really like a mod with auto win to unfuck myself.. I played the orientals, do'nt rememebr the name of the nomadic desert tribe, the sasanids delcared war on me, tis hoth and tense, but enjoyable, I decimated a lot of armies and gain a lot of territory but now My army are in deep shit and I manover pillaging rampaging, creating chaos rebellions and subverting satraps... Wich is fine, and enjoyable, but I have sent my lead an another army in the north of the blakc sea, to secure some fertile territory, and fortify them before the hord raze thos settlement and ruin their fertility.... But you know the hun problems.. I had not anymod installed toenrf the herd !!! I suffered a pummling and each time no matter what I do my main army in the north get rape after holdingthe line for 15 minutes against the horde....

That was the intent. If you amp up the AI penalty to over 50% you can even when when the bar shows you at a disadvantage. The bar doesn't reflect the special penalty being applied. Sorry to hear about the general. I can't control general outcomes through any known variable.
