The way you should download these mods are as follows;

*alt at bottom

Subscribe to the mods you want to hear last.*1

If you have problems hearing the mod you have installed while also having other mods of the same nature installed, ensure that your content folder*2 (for fof) is installed in the right order.*3 The content folders are associated with the number tag in the url of the mod. When you subscribe to a mod, steam installs it inside the content folder associated with fof.

Inside the folder for fof, you'll find all subscribed and installed mods.

Inside each of these folders, there are two files, a .vpk and .vpk.sound.cache*4.

Find what .vpk folder contains your mod by using GCFScape. Unsubscribe from the mod you want to reinstall. After you unsubscribe (and exit the folder via GCFScape) the .vpk will vanish and the folder will be left with just a .vpk.sound.cache.

To make steam reinstall the mod and place it on top of the mod order, you must delete the folder containing the .vpk.sound.cache file. Then, Subscribe to the mods that you just primed.



Alt. Method

An alternative way of ordering your list is by finding/creating the custom folder in your Fistful of Frags/fof/ directory.

Once you find/make the custom folder, you copy the vpk/named mod folder you want to use there.

Only put the full conversion mods in there. Once you have some base mods then you can go back through steam and install what you want to overwrite that.

If the mod you want is a published mod on the steam workshop then go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\265630, and open one of the numbered files associated with the ending number tag listed at the end of the mod's url.
Here you will find the published mod vpks.

*1 - As in, if you want to have a mod that changes just 'pass the whiskey', you would subscribe to it after the voice pack mod.
*2 - Steam\steamapps\workshop\content
*3 - For instance, if you had installed a voice pack mod after a mod that only changed one faction's 'pass the whiskey', the voice pack will override the precursor mods.
*4 - This is only created when you play the game with the mod loaded.
