HOUND Fashion 0.9.3

Description
HOUND brings you more cosmetics!

This mod is designed to expand the cosmetic selection of Starbound and give players more options as far as their character's look is concerned, while giving you something to aim for with your surplus of post-game pixels. This includes dyes, and a new type of dye I call "double dyes" or "dual dyes," which will also color all black sections of armor a totally different color.

I'll be updating this mod in the future (note that it's currently version 0.9.3, so it's not 100% finished yet) to include even more cosmetic armors and other things too, like furniture.

How do I get started?

You can purchase the HOUND Remote Shop at your Inventor's Table. From there, you can create the Fashion Kiosk in the 3rd tab.

HOUND Remote Shop

This crafting station sells cosmetic armors and hairstyles.

HOUND Fashion Kiosk

This crafting station sells dyes, and can be used to combine HOUND armors and dyes.
(PLEASE NOTE: I haven't completed all the dye combinations yet, so please be patient as I complete this section of the mod.)

Notes from the author...

GIGANTIC thank-you to Commander Paincakes for working his script magic to bring double dyes to completion. It would've taken absolutely forever without his help. Show him some love.

And for those who are interested at all in supporting me, donating[paypal.me] is a lovely way to show me you are interested in seeing continued work on this mod.

For those wondering how my dyes work and what they're compatible with, click this link.

Just found out today, in friggen 2023, that this mod also offers wall-mounted music players. Kinda sad there's no way to purchase those rare drops anywhere yet, because that would be my 47th replay of this game and just nowadays did I ever got the first one. I'm suspecting huge mods like Frackin' Universe, Elithain Races, Shellguard and the like are making those numbers even rarer than intended.

Loved the "Starlight" track btw <3 LOUD THO ; ^ ;

2: Starbound doesn't have any ways to change hairstlyes in-game (even through mods), and I didn't really want to encourage people to just start new games to use the hairstyles. Even if you alter your character's save data to use the new hairstyles, you would still have to add in the fourth shade's color code manually or you'd face some uncolored hair bits. (This is provided that I don't remove the hair shiny bits.)

For a bit I've actually been kinda playing around with a mod that improves (not replaces) all vanilla hairs and adds a fourth shade to make them look shiny and clean. But you'd still have to modify your character file or start a new game to get the benefits, since each character that spawned would also need to be given the updated hair colors.

Most of this junk could be avoided if Chucklefish didn't restrict changes like hair color or style to the character creation menu.
