Vir Itonian Empire

Description
This is the base of the Itonian Empire, and will add the Itonian Empire to the list of prescripted empires at game start at the bottom of the list. If you'd like custom intro text at the start, then check out my Vir Itonian Empire Flavor mod.

The mod is functionally complete, though I will update the Empire Bio to a non-placeholder at a later point.

This mod will not prevent you from gaining acheivements, though the flavor mod will.

If you want to roleplay the Itonian Empire "historically" then I suggest investing heavily into robot/driod pops with servitude rights, use the capacity boosters leader policy, regulated slavery, and only allow Primary Species as Leaders. Also choose Aristocratic Elite or Cutthroat Politics as your third civic.

Many thanks to the members of the Paradox modding forums who took the time to answer my questions.
Credit goes to HLF for the Vir species and Itonian Empire.

If you want to use them as a player empire, so that you can set them to spawn as an AI, just edit and save them like you would any of the preset empires. I recommend changing the ship/city graphic to your preferance.

Note for 2.1 update and forwards: Symbols of Domination is for the flag and not super important, while Apocalypse is for the post apocalyptic civic, which can be replaced with Aristocratic Elite or Cutthroat Politics. I'm not sure what happens to if you don't have the dlc, but I think it should still mostly work, but be incomplete.

I had to reupload the mod completely because steam wouldn't let me update it. Sorry for any trouble caused.

unfortunately I didn't have much of a choice this time round since I had lost the orignial files and needed a new copy. Next time I'll keep better backups.

Never sub to your own mod. Causes issues.

I had gone and unsubscribed from the mod and deleted that too, but it still wasn't working. I probably missed something, but eventually it wasn't worth the trouble.

Make sure the descriptor (.mod file) is not in the folder when you upload.

I managed to work out fetching the correct info but I still couldn't upload the mod because it would still say "mod should not have archive field before upload" no matter what I tried.

Steam wouldn’t let you update? Or you didn’t press fetch info before uploading the update?
