This compatibility patch removes the unique Humanoid portraits added by Sins of the Prophets: Stellaris to ensure compatibility with other mods that add/change the Humanoid portrait group.

You are aware that you can use Events to make any Species a subspecies of another, regardless of its Species Class, right?

Because humanity are humanoids. We didn't want to make a special portrait group for Halo humans as that would cause oddities with regards to diplomacy, i.e. humans thinking other humans aren't human.

Why not just move them into their own Species Class altogether?
