All Armors For Heroes: This mod is a really quick and easy INI edit that allows the Hero Factions to use all base soldier armors. That also means they can now equip the Alien Hunters Armors.

A Reaper with an Icarus Suit or even a Spider Suit is a lot of fun!!!! A Templar with a Wraith Suit or the Rage Suit is a BLAST!! The Skirmisher with a WAR Suit LOL!!!!!!!!

Yes there are cosmetic mods that allow you to use these armor parts to make some cool looks. But being able to put any armor on your Heroes while getting those armors bonues and abilities IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Dont forgot to like and rate this mod.

Thanks and have fun!!!!

Works fine. The Skirmisher seems to get stuck with some torso gear, no big deal but not perfect, but everything else is fine. :D More visuals and extra item slot too!

I wonder if some would need to remember that regular base armors, much like the Ruler ones, must be used through Loadout.

@JARZY2001 I just did a YouTube vid to show off another mod and am also using this mod and the templar armor options are indeed working.

Thanks for the info Musashi I never knew that myself, don’t really even understand that setting

@ctrudeseal @AzureTerra
the detailed soldier list disappeared can be caused by screen listener and mod class overrides suddenly stop working. this can be avoided by deactivating frame smoothing:

Also of note, wotc introduced a bug that duplicates the active mods listed on BOTH the DefaultModOptions.ini and the XComModOptions.ini. Even unsubbing from a mod, and clearing out the config folder entirely (in MyDocuments), it'll still leave the active mod on the DefaultModOptions.ini. Check in here to delete duplicates.

i will point out 2 mods that might conflict though. As they both mess with bounded icon colors. WotC: Color Coded Bonds and [WOTC] Detailed Soldier Lists a lot of UI mods do not like to play well together.

also we have tested this mod with Detailed Soldier Lists and it works fine

@ctrudeseal, i can take criticism all day bud. Thats not the issue here. All im saying is to say a mod is causing you an issue but dont have anything beside it brakes this or that and cant show me, I cant help fix it even if it was this mod. Thats all im saying.

@AzureTerra, same applies to you bud. All this mod does is add 1 addition to the 3 hero soldier's XComClassData INI file and that is this +AllowedArmors="soldier". Thats it. Now if you have another mod that changes anything with the heroes and armors, that might conflict. Can you maybe tell me what other mod this mod messed with?

Also to you gentalman (i assume you both are) Sorry if i assumed wrong. But whenever you guys to delete/unsub to any mods (if you are using the base game launcher) you gents know to go and clean your config folders yes? Helpful advice, if you dont, old mods will leave old files that will continue to mess with your game.
