Description
This mod attempts to add some more flavor in as light a way as possible by adding in Knights and Squires. This is my first go at modding since Hearts of Iron 3, so there are bound to be bugs - I am determined to fix bugs and improve the mod over time!

Features:
- Adds two traits: Knight and Squire
- Allows Knights to take on squires, as well as knight their squires or other qualified characters.
- The 'Knight' trait gives a few boons
- The 'Squire' trait gives a few boons
- English, French, German, and Spanish localisations
- NPCs also knight/squire characters
- Super lightweight and generic, as far as I know this mod *should* work with most mods. I have not personally tested this, though.

How it works:
- Someone who is a Knight can make someone a squire when: 1) the knight is the character's educator or guardian; 2) when the squire is at least 8 years old; and 3) if the squire has at least 5 martial. Making someone a squire costs the Knight 20 prestige, and the Squire receives 10 prestige.

- A Knight can knight any male character who is above the age of 16 and has at least 18 martial. This costs the one doing the knighting 75 prestige and grants the newly-knighted character 25 prestige.

- A Knight can knight their squire once they reach the age of 15 at no prestige cost to the Knight, with the squire still receiving the 25 prestige; however, the window for this is short as it still requires said Knight to be that squire's educator or guardian.

- NPCs, rather landed or not, will use these features. If you have a "lowborn" knight in your court and you send your son to him as a ward, that NPC will make him a squire and then knight given your child meets the initial 5 martial requirement.

- Rulers can "arrange" a knighthood for those with 18 martial even if they aren't a knight themselves. This costs gold instead of prestige.

- Characters who aren't knights - and do not qualify to be true knights - can purchase a knighthood at great cost of gold and prestige. They can do this for their family members as well.

Bugs and Issues

- I am sure it's finicky, I will work on this mod to refine all the bugs out.

- The mod is (mostly) localised for English, French, German and Spanish. HOWEVER, I did use google translate for the some non-english translations, so they are likely incorrect. Native-speaker corrections will be implemented.

- While I doubt this mod should cause any multiplayer desync issues, it *is* possible the increase in NPC decisions could do something.

- While knighting someone does give them a "Knight" minor title, the game still does not give the intended "Sir" prefix. This is something I'll work on, but didn't deem functionally necessary.

- Currently, no one starts with the Knight or Squire traits. You can give your character the knight trait via ruler designer. NPCs will aquire knighthoods throughout the game; you may be surprised to see how many Knights come up from the game start.

Future Features

While I don't have any immediate plans, I do intend to expand the mod ever-so-slightly to include some more features. I will also, in the short-term, be balancing the traits and decisions to confer the traits. I would also like to implement more training/education features, but that is not a feature to expect any time soon.

Thanks for giving this mod a gander!
