Assistance with determining mod that is crashing game
So I have a mod in my dwarf list that is crashing my game. I have anywhere from 100-120 mods per faction, with the majority of them being in all collections. One of the Dwarf mods is crashing my game around turn 30-50. I have not been able to determine which one it is, and I was wondering if there is anyone who can offer assistance with identifying the one responsible?

If it crashes at the start of the game it's easy to determine the mod that's causing an issue. Since this is around turn 30-50 it's much harder. I am unsure what actions are being taken that cause this, however it seems to be reasonable to think it may be something related to The Deeps, as it is with all dwarf factions, and turn 30 or so is when I start deeps investment.

I am currently going through the list to determine likeliest to least likeliest mod, here is my collection.

We can reasonably assume it is a dwarf-specific mod.

The crash happens at random upon turn 30-50. For example, most recently it was at the beginning of my turn, right when the age of reckoning ended. I reloaded, age ended fine, turn went fine until I went to conquer the Sunken City where Malagor is, upon autoresolving the battle, another crash.

I reload the game, re-do turn, save right before taking Sunken City, this time I conquer it with no issue.

I also had a caravan event that turn, I'm looking into that variable as well, as there's a comment on the Norse Dwarves/Kislev caravans of the old world mod stating somewhat of a similar situation for someone.

It certainly does seem to be related to my Caravans. I have asked the mod creator of the Caravans of the Old World what mods might be causing conflict with his. If there's anyone who knows or can clearly see which one of mine would mess with it, feel free to call me out on it.

Did you check your log file? Mine is under
steamapps/common/Total War WARHAMMER III/share/data/
With the format script_log_130325_ .... .txt

fyi: I am under linux and also use the mod configuration tool, in case you arent finding yours.

You should also enable context viewer in your game settings if you havent already.

I have not, was not aware of it, ty. I will check and try and find the break. From what I've found it, it's a script break error causing other scripts to crash the game. I believe it's actually the reduced grudges mod. I am still troubleshooting as I generally have to run the campaign into turn 30 or so until issues arise.

If you are trying to look into your scripts (.lua) they are in the .pack files. You need a separate program to open those.

If you are trying to look into your scripts (.lua) they are in the .pack files. You need a separate program to open those.

There's an LUA_Mod_Log in my base game, which is good because I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff and can't figure out how to set my PackFileManager from TWW2 to TWW3, haven't used it in a long while.

In the lua mod log I've found this.

So, it looks like there's an issue with the console commands mod, but I use it without fail on every other race, so I have to assume it's another thing breaking the console command mod. I did not see any script break when playing previously, but perhaps I just missed it. Thanks for the help, I imagine I can handle it from here, but if not I'm sure I'll ask questions here.

Thought it was the reduced grudges mod, but it's not. Still looks to be related to caravans.

I also share your intuition that its not console command mod. I dont think the excerpt from your lua log shows the actual error.

I have learned there is a nice mod manager for TWW3, unfortunately it does not catch runtime LUA errors, which I believe is my issue. So I did encounter one crash around turn 50 in a 70 turn dwarf campaign after removing caravan mod. Reload, re-fought battle, everything went fine, no more crashes.

Mod manager is screaming at me over 100 missing files on various mods though, so I think I'll just have to trim some down even if they're not the main cause anyway.
