What does a Good RPG need? Freedom to do everything and play the Game the Way you want. In my Opinion.

alot of people don't understand the psychology pov in character that even the option i wouldn't take are apart of the characters mindset and world view and that all options made are to the pov of the character and that having the option considered contrary to the initial belief changes the dynamic ideals of the character. or that they do understand but have not the rational of empathy outside of themselves. to them its just choices and consequences. so removing the option does enhance and make the game play better. prepare yourself from the political backlash though as they suppress the modification in their plight of homosexual media you can also remove the files yourself.

Giving a character that was previously a strictly heterosexual Christian male (the devs said that explicitly) in a historical game in a historical setting of medieval Europe, so called "choice" of getting pumped by another guy is gay. You roleplay as Henry from Skalitz, not some baldur's gate half-elf with a kink for bears. That's not a choice, that is a statement. And unfortunately, the devs are not responsible, but the publishers are. See who owns who and you will get a clear picture why this kind of DEI crap is being put in our game.
Regarding the backlash, don't give a damn for some vocal minority that are not gay, but pretending to fight for gay "rights".

Also, unfortunately removing the files won't work, as the dialogue choices won't disappear. Some tinkering around is required.

You don't need a mod. Just don't click the 'I would like to have gay sex' button. If the temptation is too strong for you to avoid clicking that one specific button then I think that says a something about you.

The "you have the choice" argument is funny. Of course I have the choice to not buy the game. Not the homosexual stuff button nonsense.

Just don't click the ONE button and opt instead to romance the ladies. The only mod you need is your thinking, lol.

I agree with you, but I’m not aware of any KCD mods that exist which alter dialogue options. The tools given to modders in Bethesda games offer a lot more control.

Now, there wasn’t anything polarizing in KCD1, which might be why there were no dialogue deletion mods, or altering dialogue trees might require decompiling and editing game files. I’m not sure.

I’ll wait until those who specialize in mods to take a whack at it before investigating it for myself, honestly.

If it’s hard to do without risking the integrity of the game, it might not become a mod.

Otherwise, I’m sure that such a mod is on the community’s short list of priorities.

Dang, I wonder if they'll remove my mod titled "GET RID OF GAY OPTION" that actually just replaces every cutscene with Henry and Sir Hans kissing
