Custom Workshop map: CS2 gets stuck at loading the last couple of shaders
Hey all,

Im making my own cs2 map in source 2's hammer. The problem is sometimes when I build the map and load into it, the game simply gets stuck at compiling the last couple of shaders. It will go like this: "Compiling Shaders (1490/1492)" or another number like "15040/15045".

I know that compiling lightmaps requires a RTX GPU which is why I don't have any lights in my map and I deselect "generate lightmaps" when building. I know this isn't the issue with my GTX gpu since sometimes the game is able to load in just fine.

specs:
ryzen 5700X3D
GTX 1660 SUPER
16GB ram

Any possible reason why this could be happening?

Yo did you solve this problem by any chance?
I am in the same predicament, only difference is that i have a pathtracing-capable GPU. The problem revolves around the literal last shader (39760/39761)

Sadly no, I even upgraded to a rtx 3060 and it's still happening. The only way it ""fixes"" itself is if you restart your computer and then try again.
