Can't get rid of MP5 reskin
Hello,

at some point I downloaded an M16 mod that replaces the look of the MP5. This worked totally fine but now I found another mod that takes the original guns and gives them new sounds and animations.
The problem is everytime I start a game the MP5 is the M16 which it isn't supposed to and I cannot get rid of it in any way.
I tried deleting all saves, finding the mods workshop ID to manually delete out of steam folder, verifying the games files 3 times, completely uninstalling and reinstalling Black Mesa and yet when I start the game with zero workshop addons subscribed to and definitely deleted it still has the M16 instead of the MP5.
This is really bugging me and I cannot find anything about it online.

This is the link to the M16 mod that I downloaded some time back:

This is how it looks ingame (screenshot taken after verifying files multiple times and a clean reinstall of the entire game):

Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

have you tried to remove it from the Custom folder assuming you have one?

So either I'm completely blind or none of the posts and threads I have found online ever mentioned that custom folder.
That was indeed the solution and deleting it out of there did infact remove it finally, thank you very much.
Altough I still don't really get how the custom folder is still there after clearing the Workshop and doing a clean reinstall.

It's a thing that can happen, but it's not just specific to this game. Any installed program, app, and game may not remove everything on uninstall/unsubbing/etc. So you'll have to keep tabs to make sure whatever you uninstalled/removed/etc. doesn't leave any lingering effects.

I did look if the Black Mesa folder in the common folder is completely gone and didn't leave any trace and it didn't. It was clompletely gone which is what confused me about this but I guess it must have been present either somewhere else or in the cloud I guess idk
