Is using rpgmaker RTP music for promotional game content agaisnt the rules? [non commerical]

if i were to make a trailer for my game but use the rtp music, is against the TOS? in the EULA/TOS they state not to use the RTP outside of RPGMAKER related projects [so im wondering if this appiles for outside the engine in general][the game will be free, and i will not make profit of the trailer]

It sounds like you are answering your own question, which is probably why you never got a reply.

I mean, if you can't use something outside of RPGMAKER related products, then you can't use it unless the thing you are using it for is RPGMAKER related, right?

So is your promotional thing RPGMAKER related? If so, then it sounds like it's okay, and if not, then it probably isn't.

PS: I haven't really read the EULA/TOS and am just basing my statement on the information you provided regarding your problem.
