To get the full use and right places, first go to your wallpaper engine and go to the "general" tab then turn the "desktop icon opacity" to 100%. Next uncheck both "auto arrange icons" and "align icons to grid."

For the max effect of the wallpaper put your "this pc" icon on the center of the desk. Next put your "trash" icon on the side of the desk. Then place all your other icons on the shelf. Hope this helps!
