Solution
To get the legendary weapon 'True Dragonbane' you normally have to get all collectables, but if you've accidently looked at Usher's Diary or don't want to do the 'Pandora's Box' Investigation, here are all possible solutions of the puzzle.

The order of the symbols in the sequence always stays the same, only the position of the symbols on the stone plates differ every time.

The puzzle's location is in the catacombs of Temple Church. You can enter it from the backside. To solve the puzzle you have to stand on the stone plates there in the right sequence. You have to stand on the plates for a moment. If you just walk over it, it might not work.

You can solve the puzzle after entering the Westend District in chapter 4 until the final bossfight.

I looked up the "best ending" on youtube and it was just the same with more kissing (looked so over the top it wasn't believable so I'm glad I stuck to the ending I got).

If I could give you a huge tip: don't overlook the need to have ammo: at least take 40-50% ammo: this will ensure you do enough damage to the bosses to complete.

I'm not ever going to go through the bad ending as I feel I've gotten the best possible outcome it was difficult and I was tempted many times to feed on others: you don't even need to have the district be in the "stable" category I got through this with a pillar dead (so you don't even need a perfect run) just don't drain anyone of blood and you'll get the good ending: which I thought was odd. A part of me wanted to free one of them from their misery but I guess the game will reward you for not giving in to emotional attachment to human stories.

Funny thing is: this sword doesn't really help that much: here's a true tip: use your gun: upgrade it to the highest level possible and instead of this dumb sword use the scythe instead: you'll find that the gun does a heck of a lot more damage with the fire boost by the way (for some reason the other chemical boost also works on the bosses which I found hilariously broken): you'll want to keep more than one shotgun as they'll hold extra shots: use this to your advantage, I found the final two bosses for the good ending to be so easy to defeat: this sword is a mere waste of time I found it to be good for killing other ekons but not really much use in boss fights: your gun is your best weapon with your sword being the damage you finish them off with.
