This guide explains how to use the Debug Mode in the Pre-Alpha build of Fractal Space.

CHAPTER SELECTION

Enabling Debug Mode in the Main Menu shows the CHAPTERS and NEW GAME+ buttons to start directly from Chapter 2 or Chapter 3.

• Shift + F1 in Main Menu: CHAPTERS button

You can then select the Chapter you want to play by clicking the new CHAPTERS button!

COMMANDS

First, enable Debug Mode while in-game:

• Shift + F1 while in-game: Debug Mode ON / OFF

You will now have access to the Debug Commands shortcuts:



NOTE: Enabling Debug Mode will add +4h to your Speedrun timer, to ensure no cheating is possible with Debug Commands.

RESET SAVE

If you are encountering major bugs, or if you played with Debug Mode and need to re-test the game in normal conditions by simulating a fresh new save, it's best to reset the save game file.

• Simply click the !Reset Save! button in the main menu or pause menu:

NOTE: This option will not be present in the final released game, and is only here for debug purposes.

Note: Debug mode gives you +2hrs to speedrun timer, to make sure you're not cheating
