I found a glitch with this mod. I became a werewolf and went into my werewolf skill tree to take a look at it. When I left, I suddenly got the achievement "Werewolf Mastered" meaning I had taken all 11 werewolf perks. I have not taken any werewolf perks. Now, I'm not a serious achievement hunter, because achievements really don't mean anything. Just thought you should be aware.

Hope this hasn't been covered yet: do the effects persist after you cure your lycanthropy? Will my character still have those small bonuses after?

SOMEONE MAKE A WAY TO GET INFECTED AS A WEREWOLF OR START AS WEREWOLF WITHOUT COMPANIONS MOD WITHOUT HAVING TO SELECT A RACE KTHXBAI (or just make one for all races idk)
Demon Daken  [author] Sep 29, 2013 @ 1:06pm
@MarkSuperNut: Feral Regeneration and Protean HIde are new perks. You wouldn't see their benefit until you add the perks. I would have thought you would see the benefit from animal vigor (several other people have had no issue). Some of the benefits (like beastial strength) are more or less invisible. There could be a conflicting mod, or a load order issue.

cool thanks for taking my sugestion into account

@Elfendrago: Sounded like a good idea to me. I added an additional effect based upon your characters investment in the bestial strength perks. Each level adds +10 carry weight while in humanoid form. When you you have maxed out the perk there is an additonal +10 bonus, so you get +50 total.

In order to get the carry weight effect, you should just need to undergo a beast form transformation. When you change back, you should see your additional carry weight bonus.

might want to add werewolves in human forms get a boost in carryweight like in werewolf form their carry acapacity increases
Demon Daken  [author] Jul 26, 2013 @ 4:14pm
@Alaric: The bonus to human strength is an across the board boost to attack damage. The vanilla perk was modified to include the standard bonus (beastform) plus a bonus when you have the perk but are not in beast form. You don't see it it as an active effect because of this appoach. At its maximum level you have an attack damage multiplier of 1.1.

As far as a bonus to speeds etc... the only way I know to accomplish that would be to modify some of the global settings and variables (there is one speed burst effect, but it wouldnt be constant/passive). This can be pretty disruptive to people and is fairly subjective, so I wouldn't opt to do it (plus there isn't currently a similar perk to imply that passive benefit).

Everything is working amazingly! Just one question, what does the bonus to human strength actually do? Also I was wondering if a boost to human movement speed might be added as well if it's not there already, thank you!
Alaric III Jul 16, 2013 @ 6:33am
I found the culprit. Killable Children mod somehow managed to do it.
Demon Daken  [author] Jul 15, 2013 @ 5:34pm
@Alaric: I certainly understand the RP element of your comment, hopefully you are able to work out the issue. This is very likely a conflict with another mod. I currently only use this mod (for werewolves) and can tell that you I have no issues with feeding on animals. It is possible that another mod left the Perk tree as is, but modified an underlying script/spell/magic effect. In order combine Gorging and Savage feeding into a single perk, there was only a single magic effect that needed to be altered "DLC1WerewolfGorgingRestoreHealth"; it was modified to look for the presence of Savage Feeding instead of Gorging. Aside from that (and moving perks in the tree), I made no change that would have impacted feeding. I did modify vanilla perks/spells/scripts. As many other modders do the same, these sort of issues arise. I would recommend messing with load order of your werewolf mods to see if you can find a happy sequence. If not, it will be your decision on what to keep. Best of luck!

I'm not sure if this issue is your mod's fault or it's a conflict with a different werewolf mod I have but your mod is the only mod of those which affects the perk tree. Basically, my issue is that, although I have the savage feeding perk (I cheated the perk in, I don't like eating humans for roleplaying reasons) but for the past few weeks now I've been unable to feed on animals. I don't know why this is, but none of my other mods touch this perk so I'm kinda at a loss as to how it's happened. When I try to eat a dead animal the "e to feed" option doesn't appear, and if I try to do it anyway, nothing happens :/
I'd be very grateful if you could look into this.
Demon Daken  [author] Mar 2, 2013 @ 4:07pm
@Rassilion Debelious Everglaide: I believe it will, yes. The modification to the werewolf change script is adding a custom ability on shiftback to humanoid form. This ability checks for the user to have the vanilla perk (DLC1AnimalVigorPerk) before activating and providing the passive benefit.
Demon Daken  [author] Mar 2, 2013 @ 4:04pm
@Mr. Butler: I am glad you like the mod. Sorry if it got cut off, might be resolution related. I can see the full text on mine... not sure. The full text on feral regeneration is->As your metabolism surges, you gain a steady regeneration of health while in beast form. You gain a fraction of this regenerative power passively while in humanoid form.
The full text on protean hide is -> You have reached the pinnacle of the Lycan Bloodline. Your hide now has a protean characteristic. Its constant phasing reduces incoming physical and magical damage.

If you already take perks before you add this mod will the effects update after adding the mod? I.E I already took the mod thaqt give the werewolf 100 extra health and stamina before I got this mod, will I get the exta benefit in human form after I get the mod?
Evil-Fox Jan 1, 2013 @ 7:37pm

Pheonix Dec 31, 2012 @ 9:12am

ur metabolism surges, you gain a steady regeneration of health while in beast form. you gain a fraction of the regenerative power passively wl---- in human form. the first part of your and the last part of while is cut off just thought i would let you know. Also amzaing now my orc battle archer can tank like he can in wolf
Unholy Dec 27, 2012 @ 12:59pm
Has anyone made a mod that lets you turn off werewolf form manually? Don't reply with stupid answer ie: "if you wait, it'll go away."
Demon Daken  [author] Oct 22, 2012 @ 5:33pm
@DefaultGamer, You should just have to save while in werewolf form. Then uninstall the mod. When you revert, you will no longer get the passive buffs.
DefaultGamer1101 Oct 20, 2012 @ 1:59pm
I just wanted to say that this is probably the best Werewolf Mod available imo but if you ever decide to cure your lycanthropy in any means the passive buffs from the perk tree remain on your character regardless which is a problem. I have sadly unsubbed from the mod itself untill further notice that this fixed. Just wanted to warn anyone else who thinks about getting this mod that to only use it on a character you are 100% sure that will stay a werewolf the entire game.
DefaultGamer1101 Oct 19, 2012 @ 12:23pm
Oh okay I see what you mean. In the CK though it said Savage Feeding required Bestial Rage Rank 1 but it might have been a bug or some such
Demon Daken  [author] Oct 19, 2012 @ 12:01pm
@DefaultGamer. The Bestial Rage not being connected to Savage Feeding was done on purpose. I didn't want any prerequisites for the Savage Feeding Perk, but didnt want to force anyone to take it. I am glad you were able to modify it to suit your own needs though.

Increasing the Werewolf perk by feeding on animals was a part of the vanilla perks (it was under Savage Feeding/After Gorging and way too deep in the perk tree to make sense to me).

I am glad you liked the mod. Happy gaming!
DefaultGamer1101 Oct 18, 2012 @ 12:48pm
Oh I wanted to ask a quick question though, was increasing your Werewolf Perk Bar by feeding on animals vanilla or added in the mod?
DefaultGamer1101 Oct 18, 2012 @ 12:46pm
First I want to say this is probably the best werewolf perk mod out there. Second I wanted to mention that you didnt connect Beastial Rage with Savage Feeding in the CK with the little line arrow so in-game theres no line connecting the two in the perk tree. I fixed it in the CK for myself (I have OCD so it was driving me nuts) but thought I'd let you know so you could fix it on your end.

underworld
Demon Daken  [author] Sep 24, 2012 @ 4:24pm
@Hutchy01: I didnt change anything with the global variable for max perks. The modified tree still only has 11 total perks to select. I believe the achievement is unlocked when the variable DLC1WerewolfTotalPerksEarned counter reaches 11. So the short answer is, yes I think you can still earn the achievement. Still unconfirmed.

NICE Now being a lycan has a use (does it affect the achivement the combining of perks, also sorry about the grammer errors)
TheDeadDude Sep 23, 2012 @ 3:12pm
Awesome, now werewolves aren't so squishy and can be used instead of a regular character, thanks.
Demon Daken  [author] Sep 23, 2012 @ 11:35am
Byron, I added an additional 50% bonus on taking the new perk "Protean Hide". This will scale with level. At level 50 it should add an additional 200 armor. I also added a magic resist component, caps at 40%.
Demon Daken  [author] Sep 23, 2012 @ 9:58am
Byron, sure. I can add an extra perk for that. I will probably add it right after Feral Regeneration to help with the sense of progression.
TheDeadDude Sep 23, 2012 @ 6:14am
Wow this is really good, could you add a perk that add's to Werewolves armor rating? It's bs how low level city guards can 1-3 hit me with arrows in master difficulty and same with bandits and falmer. Level 50+ onwards werewolf is only good for killing mages and must take caution with 2handed weilders/duel wield and archers.

sounds cool..
