@Cago™² likely lsm isn't wrong, but 256x1024 isn't a very large LOD texture. it's the same size as 512x512. you should ignore most of what lsm says anyway, it lists a lot of errors like lod texture size, mesh, props missing, etc. most of these things won't affect the game.

I see that the LOD is 512x256 but somehow LSM says: "Very large LOD texture 256 x 1024"
I tried to unsub and sub angain in case I got an older version but it keeps telling me the same.
Should I just ignore what LSM says?

One of my favorite skyscrapers. Generic, very nicely modeled, and I love that soft white glow around the top. :steamhappy:

@pirazel clearly an issue on your end then. mods can have effects even turned off. Most buildings (by top asset creators) have custom specular lods, even so the game generates a specular lod for every asset, no different from any a user creator. so it's highly unlikely that has any relevance. I'm no tech support, I just make buildings. there are far more qualified people to help. Ask here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SkylinesNation/

Also happens with no mod activated. But the affected buildings change depending on what kind i have enabled in the asset editor. It only happens on custom buildings with custom specular lod. Something is causing a problem but what?

@pirazel nah, nothing like that. I'm sure I did extensive testing at the time, Definitely seems to be an issue on your end tho. What it is, who knows? I've noticed that when there's an issue with a mod, it may affect a random asset, that really has nothing to do with it.

Some of the custom buildings lod are rendered as a pure specular object the diffuse completly missing! The asset editor wiki page mentioned a bug if lod_s is used but not lod_a. So I wondered if this is the case here. The game uses a texture atlas that combines the lod textures of every lod model, so the bug might depend on the asset combination used. At the moment i'm just guessing.This game is crazy!

@pirazel nah, looks like everything here is on the up and up. This building is a year old, and nobody's every mentioned any error. In addition, I use it on a regular basis and never had any problems, but I double checked the lod textures and everything is cool. Sometimes with this game, shit just doesn't go right. I assume, especially in light of the update, that this is just a case of shit not going right

I noticed a faulty lod rendering. Do you use a custom lod_s? If so, you would need a lod_a due to a bug. Also check the UV space of the lod model. It must not be outside of 0-1 space otherwise it would render different textures of the lod megatexture.

I love your buildings so much that I've subscribed to most of your reality stores and buildings. Would you be able to make PNC Bank, First National Bank, or Barclays skyscrapers? I love banks lining my skylines. :) Keep up the amazing work.

Nice building and cool video. Glad you post the link cause everytime I click on a video clip in WS it freezes, so having the link launches the browser so I can watch them. I have about 1600 assets myself (including props). What I do is sort my workshop content into collections to keep better track of them. Every so often I clean out my workshop by removing assets I either don't use regularly or assets that have too many requirements or use props that are rarely used. I try to stick with assets that have no additional prop req. other than what I already have OR ones that just use the most common custom props.
