To be honest i do not understand. This mod (any version) do nor tequire a DLC. For what I know this mod is not included in any merge mod.

I want to help but I do not understand the issue, what would be possible with this mod that you can't do with the version that is updated for 1.8?

I did say I dont have the DLC so I cant get the merged tradtion mod. plentiful additional and expanded traditions will not work together. The only way to use all three might be to give this one an update.

Can't you use the main version of the mod? This version was discontinued since I in 1.8 made the main version of the mod compatible with all other mods (removed changes to vanilla files), other tradition mods excluded.

Is there some reason you would want to use this one?

Could you update to 1.8.0 please I dont have the DLC so I cant use merged trations. This is the only way i can run your mod with additional and plentiful traditions.

The main mod works with 1.8, but there are many traditions that don't make sense with machines and hive minds.

I have 3 main things I want to do:
- Replace some "worse" traditions with new more interesting ones (a few less interesting was added in the compatibility version as well as to adapt to the new patch)
- Making "lesser" traditions swaps, like bonus to robots only for empires that uses robots, bonuses to megastructures only for those with the perks.
- Traditions swaps for hive minds etc.

I also have the design for 8 more traditions that I want to add some day.

All that will take a lot of time though, so I am slowly adding stuff in. Unsure when what will be included.

Just noting that this version of the mod is probably going to get discontinued with the new patch. Rather I will make the main mod a compatibility version, and then make a addon with the compatibility stuff
(much easier to maintain that way)

Right now the main mod is remade as a compatibility version, so if you have been using this one than a switch to the main mod will offer more or less the same experience.

I had Chivalry as an idea before, scratched it due to not coming up with tradition ideas. Your suggestion made me revive the idea though, have a few good ideas now.

Here's another suggestion for a Tradition tree:

Something involving Chivalry or Honorable Warriors. Maybe some of the traditions give bonuses to army morale or pop happiness or even additional unity, or even a new building.

Another good one would be for a Tradition that is very ironfisted in theme and bonuses.

There are no translations for the mod (If anyone want to help, conntact me!). I am travelling, but when I get home I will change it so that other languages uses english localisation. You can do so yourself by openingvthe mod (steam/stram apps/workshop...), go to localisation, copy the englidh files and replace names plus the headers in each file. Otherwise it will be fixed ochn the beginning of august.

There is a Problem when u play Stellaris with different language then english, all the traditions just get the file name, but no text that so u cant seewhat the Traditions rly do. maybe u can fix that, and when u need help in translating let me know. BTW: Great MOD!

I've hit that character limit a few times myself ^^ (including for this mods description). I am thinking something like putting traditions along ethos scale, like something for Materialist, something fore neutral and something for spiritualist. However I have a hard time coming up with what the neutral version for these should be.

Another suggestion for a Tradition Tree would be for well the different Spaceborne Creatures. Mabye a Breeding Tradition Tree or something for each Spaceborne Creature type.

Hm...the Archaeology Tradition Tree suggestion got me thinking of two for when they put the swapping feature into the game: since we got the Liberty Tradition Tree from your mod, maybe something that is thematic for say slavery, a Slaver Tradition Tree?

Also another suggestion I have would be something that would allow you to build monuments or something like the Grand Mauseloum we use to build in the past prior to the new Government and Civics update. These monuments could be pyramids, Grand Mauseloums, statues, royal gardens, palaces, etc. that give you Unity as well as decrease Unrest. Maybe a Legacy Tradition Tree?

Well, the thing is, I was never happy with the fact that in the vanilla game, you're locked out of the other Ascension paths when you pick the Tier 1 Ascension Path Perk. I understood that it was for balance purposes, but still. I do play with a mod that lets you pick the Tier 1 Ascension Path Perk, but you can only pick one of the three Tier 2 Ascension Path Perks (just to keep things a little balanced now). Still, there was one Traditions Mod where you were required to have one of the perks to adopt that Ascension Path Tradition Tree. I guess you could look at that one and see if you can use that as a spring board to give you some ideas.

That's a good idea. I like ideas for thematic buffs to militarism that doesn't necessarily makes you better and fighting.

Ascension Paths based traditions are an interesting idea. I haven't had any traditions locked things yet, they are doing some modifications with the next patch and I will have to have a think about adding those kinds of traditions, and how to handle them.

(That is something I am happy to have input on, when they add Tradition swapping, how do you want to see it included in this mod? Do you want things like purity tied to fanatic purifiers? Until now I have had everything available to everyone let the player decide for them self, while having weights for the AI)

Archaeology sounds interesting, I will add it to my list of potential themes to make something of.

I notice that Militiarism doesn't really add much to the Imperialist faction, which tends to be really hard to get happy, especially if you plan on playing the nice and friendly, yet tough guy who wants to beat the snot out of all of the bullies (i.e. Slaving Despots, Fanatical Purifiers, and Devouring Swarms) and wants to make friends with other empires who aren't bullies. I think it would be good if that tradition did help out with the attraction of the Imperialist faction and Militarist ethos.

Another thing that I would suggest is create a tradition for the three Ascension Paths: Psionics, Synthetics, and Biological. Also, maybe an Archaeology Tradition tree that gives us bonuses on anomalies and events.

I have just released my Ascension Perks mod.
