Can you make another mod exactly like this but have it affect the magic trees instead please?
TheDeadDude Apr 30, 2015 @ 6:02am
Does this mod still work?

NOTE: This does NOT work with Patchus Maximus. This will disable Patchus Maximus' alchemy tree.

I use an iPad app called SR Alchemy which makes Alchemy so much faster and profitable it's sick. This would be so overkill :) Not to bash ur work, but if anyone is interested in faster better alchemy, check it out, and no I'm not the guy who made it :).

I think that factor 3 would be better, though to each his own

Thanks for this great mod Erkel. Simple and effective how fearful mod noobies like myself like things.

Finally a mod that just enchances vanilla skyrim, for the most part vanilla skyrim is solid but there are alot of minor and some major gaps that simple mods really help with. Thanks for this +1 faved and subscribed.

That is true. imo, if you're going to make a mod that does a lot of things, don't. Just cut it into pieces and put them up individually. Sure, it takes longer, but that way people don't need to deal with so many annoying additions when all they need is a simple fix.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best ones I guess. I'm actually surprised there was no mod that just made alchemy level faster without adding new features to vanilla. I certainly did not anticipate that a simple mod would get so popular as well, but I guess alot of people liked the simplicity without having to deal with additional perks etc,.

How do mods as simple as this get so popular? >< lol..
I've made mods similar that got practically ignored... gah...

Well, not much to say about the mod itself.
Useful, simple, good yet unimpressive. Still, thumbs up to you

Thanks for the info!

Yep, I only changed the Alchemy base multiplier from 0.75 to 3, every other aspect of Alchemy remained the same.
Frankenstein Sep 23, 2012 @ 1:09pm
just from a modding perspective: which stat did you modify? the base multiplier?
Kami Sep 23, 2012 @ 6:38am

Finally, an actual inspiration to start collecting things and making potions from them! I never got too interested in Alchemy due to how goshdarn slow it would level for me.. but now I'm actually more inspired to start working at it.
Thank you.

Whist your Alchemy levels up pretty quickly early in the game with this mod, Alchemy really turns into a grindfest around level 40 upwards. I found myself making heaps of useless potions with giants toes simply because they gave the most XP. I guess the whole point of this mod is to let people make the potions they actually want to use and be able to level up at a reasonable rate instead of just making potions that gives the most XP.

However if you like a X2 multiplier mod I can upload one as well.
TerraDea Sep 21, 2012 @ 6:00pm
I agree that the leveling system for Alchemy is unbalanced, but i think earning twice as much xp for each potion would have been plenty. So i used it to get a boost to start a fresh character and then turned it off after a few levels.

I'm with iSyrx... Divines bless your kind heart! Needed this!
Vorpal Evanescence Sep 20, 2012 @ 7:27pm
Instead of taking 500+ Potions, it now takes 200+. Thank you.

Any feedback is welcome. If you feel this mod makes alchemy level up too fast or still too slow just leave a comment and I can release an alternate version with a different multiplier.
James Sep 18, 2012 @ 7:35pm
I'll give it a try... thanks!
Noodle  [author] Sep 18, 2012 @ 8:14am
