Not as spongey as a Tank, but that aint the point of Metal Sonic.
Being an agile counter to Sonic is the point, and a Hunter was the best pick to reskin as Metal Sonic because of this.

Combined with Egg Pawn Zombies, and Sonic survivors, makes for some dumb Sonic fun in L4D2

I remember using the addon back when I first played L4D2. I wished there was another version that kept the normal hunter hitboxes.

@Demintai it's when I load into a map it says that error. maybe it's the model or the map? I am not sure

@Nexus Corporal Interesting. I haven't been modding this game for years now, but I might take a look. Or I might not, I can't promise anything regarding my mods with how things have been here now. Anyway, does the model work fine in game? Is the error very disruptive?

this addon gives me an error saying in the command console "
Model models/infected/hunter.mdl has a bad texture models/infected/hunter/body"
is there any fix to this problem or is it just the model?

Metal Sonic could actually kill the justice league by copying their abilities. But Wallace wasn't one of them....

Somehow it's conflicting with the l4d1 port even though they both only replace their respective hunter.

ay its fine bro, sadly the port does not work if you have both on, the textures get messed up but maybe they will fix that one day.l

@NicktheMoon No problem. Hmm, I vaguely remember trying that console command myself at least once but it didn't work for me. I don't recall having tried it again though, so maybe I should in case I did something wrong.

Ah, I actually did manage to get it working today! I typed sv_consistency 0 into the command console and it started showing up properly. I haven't tried it in multiplayer yet, but maybe that could help with other mods giving you the same sort of error message? Either way, thanks for replying and explaining it c:

@NicktheMoon one of my observations seems to be that it's somehow related to what mods the host game has and when you join it. It's been a while since I played but hmm for me it worked if I had the mods installed and joined a game that didn't have any SI mods installed. But, if I tried to host a game and had an SI mod installed people who tried to join got that same message. For me and my friends the hosting player can't use any SI replacer mods.

Basically host and client files differ and the game doesn't like it and for some reason it likes to happen a lot with special infected mods. Not sure why. Also, I could be wrong about this too, but this is my experiences with that same error.

...If that happens to you in single player then I'm afraid I have no idea about it. I've only ever had that problem when joining my friend's games or they mine.

I'm sorry I can't help with this one. It's a common problem. I can try to look into it but I can't really promise anything.

Been having trouble this one :c whenever I try to load a game to try and test it out, I get a message saying "Server is enforcing consistency for this file: models/infected/hunter.mdl"
Is there a fix of a line of code I'm missing or have misplaced?
