glitched crown makes the pedestal go through every item as well as permanently deleting your active item if you so happen to pick one up

this mod is still better than nothing for most people, but for players who push the game to an extreme almost every run, it just doesn't do it's job and can potentially ruin your run. "reroll the breakfast into a completely random item!" but why the fuck you'd want a completely random item instead of the ones you haven't seen yet?

Borderline neccessary due to how quick Glitched Crown burns through the item pools.

As far as I am aware (A.K.A. my 30 secs of testing) this mods is fully compatible with rep+

Did someone check if it works properly on rep+?

just wanted to say that there's a kind of weird interaction with glitched crown, where it keeps cycling between a list of like 30 items, instead of 5

also ALSO there are some mods that have indicators that technically count like items. If you use these types of mods you can encounter these otherwise inaccessible items . For example since i use team compliance's lost items pack i managed to find one of the indicators that an item uses that makes it go towards the seraphim transformation. if you want to know if a mod has these use the encyclopedia mod to check.

OK, now think I'd recommend using the first method.

Putting a number higher than than your item count doesn't do much it works the same, but it lagged the reroll from breakfast significantly more in the second method. So yeah, if you often switch mods, just put a big enough number for a one size fits all idk.

Adding onto these comments by Makadla23 I tried testing what would happen if you had upwards of 1000 items (in my case 1006) and you follow a similar process here, except don't think it matters which way you add the number of items into the 1550.

So for my 1006 items I changed the number these ways

1505--->1006

1505--->11006

And it worked similarly, and still showed the modded items when rerolling.

Now, regardless of itemcount you might think you're still experiencing breakfasting,

so as a small notice, **you have to take at least one breakfast** in order for the effect here to work. the rest is smooth sailing from then on.

Side note: I have no idea what hapens when when you put in a higher number than there are items in the game. My guess is it just dissapears, so when you uninstall a mod that adds more items, you can just repeat this progress and update the number.

ALSO, i think i know how to exclude items you dont want such as story items, but i dont have time to test it rn and also it would be verry messy. Anyways, go forth and reroll

-Step ONE: Go into the game, open the console and find out what's the highest item id in your game.
[You can do this by typing "g c###" , where the # is the number of items in your game. Trial and error will give you your answer]
[If you dont have any modded items, this shoud be 732 (mom's ring)]


-Step TWO: find the mod in the game folder and open the main.lua file in the mod folder with notepad
[should be "steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\"]

-Step THREE: On the 9 and 17th line, you should see something along the lines of "math.random(1,550)"

-Step FOUR: On both lines, replace the number 550 with the number you got from the console before

-Step FIIVE: Save the file and you're done.

very very buggy with glitched crown, which sucks, cause thats when you're most likely to breakfast

this breaks once you have binge eater, it will "reroll" the original item if the rotation has breakfast, not sure if it is fixable

idea possibly make it so you can still get multiple breakfasts with binge eater because you get a range up from it

This mod was not working for me when glitch crown was held, it visually seemed to work until I took an item (always breakfast pretty much, even with a completely different sprite).
Weird edge case, good luck if you ever try to fix that

This is bugged with glitched crown

My game crashes once almost every run on Steam Deck. I'm not sure it's this mod's fault, but I suspect it. The last lines in the error log file states the item pools has been exhausted.
Anyone else who has experienced this?

Playing REP btw.
