Hello Ebony Soul! I have find the entry to the hideout but i cannot find the escape tunnel. I follow the short quest for the sword find the ruins but i cannot find the sword,nor the secret campsidte, nor the cavern . I need help please!!!

Really a very good job. Finally a house that isn't in Whiterun or Riverwood. This one is just where I needed it and it's a fun place to hand out with my five followers. thanks.

Hello everyone. Sorry it's been awhile. This was my first mod and I had some issues at the beginning;, to do with the Nightgate Inn cell. It works fine once you've completed the Dark Brotherhood quest at the Nightgate Inn. I recommend checking out my later mods because they are all bug free :) Thanks everyone for the feedback.

The last update for this mod has been in 2012... I doubt there will be anymore?

I do like the house, but i've hit some issues. The game is convinced that the hideout is actually the Nightgate in cellar. Balagog Gro Nobo is even there. And ownership of the weapons i've displayed has shifted. This needs to be fixed. I don't want to have to steal my own weapons back.

Err Ive hit a slight bug - I was most suprised to find Balagog Gro Nobo who was lodging last time I saw him in Nightgate Inn, He seems to be enjoying the Hideout facilities and is a nice quiet guest, just worrying in case he needs to be in HIS cellar and not mine for some quest, I hope not, its rather nice having folks over to visit & who could blame him for upgrading his quaters ;-)

theres a mod called drinking fountains of skyrim and it adds fountains throughout skyrim where you can fill empty bottles, waterskins and drink directly from it - it is a must for me with Real Needs & Disease, theres a couple in Dawnstar

to IBIGLY1 look for the book on the low wall to the left next to the lighthouse it gives all the info you will need

I love this mod you have taken so much time over developing each area and the decorations - I adore the minitures, sword rack, houses etc they make the house for me. I thoroughly enjoyed finding the cavern and cave not found the campt yet

the only thing I would like changed is adding a tanning rack to the forge and if you could put more room to walk past hte grindstone, maybe a path as I had to jump over it.

Love the house. Plenty of displays and storage while being close to and a step up from the Dawnstar Sanctuary...still can't find that darned key.

Found the problem with the tunnel. Conflict with another mod. But today founs another big problem. I'm finishing off the Dark Brotherhood quests and after I kill Cicero I can't advance anymore! I took out all mods and added them back one at a time, when I got to this one, same problem! I'm hoping I can use this after I finish DB questline. I do like this mod but I need to finish DB so for now it's turned off.

Found the tunnel. You can't go back to hideout? Kept pushing forward and found the cavern. Once again, you can't go back? Can't find anyway out of cavern! Nice minature of the sphere of magnus by the way. Clairvoyence show exit near the fire but nothing. Searched whole cavern and could find no way out. Am I missing a button or pull handle?

This could become my permanent residence! Haven't found the tunnel and cave but I'll go back after a few more quests and look a little harder.

Keep looking :) The entrance is hidden within one of the walls of the cave area.

Hi everyone, I have just made some slight decorative changes in the main house above the entrance... You might have to re-add your weapon to the plaque on the right because I shifted it over.

@ lemanruss6: I have added two companion banners in the semi-outdoor eating area :) I'm glad to hear you like the house. Have you found the hideout and cave etc.?

very nice house, would be awesome to move my warrior warband there, but its decorated for a rogue type with the nightingale stuff. wolud be perfect with some companion banners and such. but otherwise a exellent home mod!

No problem with the Orc. I'm trying to sort out some mod conflicts so I may have to take it back to vanilla and start addding. All was fine and then a lot of things were not working right. So it may be just me. Thanks again!

Yes, the Orc (Balagrog GroNolob) is an annoying glitch. You are the first to mention it. As far as stuff being owned, I'm not sure what you mean as I've had my friend test it. If he is there for anyone else, just open up the console, click on him and type 'disable'.

P.S. The mini-quest I've added has an extra place to visit.

Hideout has a surly Orc that talks about the owner, who isn't there. Stuff labled for the owner/Innkeeper but he never appears. So, the smart aleck in my wants to know why there's a secret inn next to my house owned by someone else.... Maybe it's a Thieves Guild place? Regardless, very cool. Thanks. Suggest adding a secret room or two and an even more hidden second way out. Maybe something that exits either closer to town or just out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks again for sharing all your hard work.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will carefully consider them. But, I would like to release the 'hideout' first which I am half-way through. :)

I like the idea, and I think the miniatures you added in there was a very clever and cool thing. My suggestions: bar room seems crowded. I don't think you need another table with foood on it since you have several and I think maybe one or two would be plenty. Main table/throne - player has to pass through table to sit down and when he stands he's on top of the throne. Suggest moving lighting up on first two poles and get rid of floor lamps and add in 2 more mannaquins. Generally seems like you are trying to fill all the spaces and that's not needed. Like weapon displays so high up there's no way to actually put a weapon on them... Overall very nice. Thank you for sharing this.

Still a few adjustments needed, like I can't get the weapon racks to work, BUT I love the view from the lighthouse roof. I'm gonna drag a stone bench up there and just sit taking it all in...don't care if I freeze. This can be my holiday house!

this is one of the best dawnstar houses ive seen in a while just needs a little bit of work

I like the location, but I think this might need a bit more work, sort of hard to get to the entrance stairs, most internal items are set as "steal" and the double bed is already owned, so some ownership settings need to change, the housecarl keeps referring to the jarl...
Surely it should have an alchemy table, and for me, that mezzanine display area just seems wrong...you walk in and you're under a ladder?
And it seems a shame not to be able to take advantage of the views...just a wee balcony perhaps?
I'll keep my eye on this, good potential, but for now, unsubbing
