Your saved games folder is not in the SteamLibrary, it will be in something like your:

Documents/My Games/Tabletop Simulator/Saves

This is where all your saved objects, saved games and Mods are downloaded to, may not be identical to your system but this is the typical path

very new to TTS - does anyone know how to take the Legacy Models file (from the dropbox link on this page) and copy it to my Saved Objects in TTS? i searched through the Tabletop Simulator file in steamapps > common, as well as the My Games folder, but found no relating 'Saves' or 'Saved Objects' folder(s) of the sort.

@FilippineMachine You need to switch your color to black [Game Master] to access the models. They're hidden behind that DM screen with the Squirtle gang.

Okay I cant figure out how to alter the DM Screen. Could you help me out with figuring out how to edit it? BTW I'm pretty much finished altering it to work with Pokerole, its a slap together job but it works!

This is such an amazing mod gonna start a game soon but its in Pokerole 2.0 but i just need to use this board! lol Would be amazing if you could make an Pokerole Version but i know that's asking for a lot. Thank you for all the hard work this is definitely a labor of love and hope you continue to work on it some more!

So I'm currently trying to run a pokerole game and I was hoping if you knew how to load the models themselves onto another table rather then needing to load in the PTU table itself. I've tried to figure it out and have remained stumped

Hi Everyone. I haven't touched this project in a while, and it does need a good bit of debugging. I feel like I've completed all the assets I wanted to include, with Gen 9 being a faint possibility.

If there is anyone who would help offer some time to help bug check with multiplayer, that would be amazing.

@Vaj2 the models aren't working in-game anymore? I'm glad the saved objects folder is a good work around.

@DjangoBot Is this mod still being updated or deserted? I'm trying to use the catch function but just keeps throwing out an error. I put the stat card on the trainer and it syncs, then put a Pokeball in them, then I pull it out, which it does come out, but it throws the error, can't catch because it throws the error. Any help is appreciated.

Great mod! Quick question, how can I write in the stat trackers? As soon as I type anything in, like entering the species or type on the first page, the text disappears as soon as I change the page or close the tracker. The buttons to change stats on page 2 seem to work fine, but typing anything in doesn't work

You have some *amazing* effects with the weather and such - are those able to be carried over to other tables, as well? Or was that hand-coded by you for your table? I tried to save the castform to saved objects, but...it just gave me the castform itself. If it's hand-coded, that's alright! It's incredibly impressive.

pertaining to multiplayer since i heard you still haven't tested this mod in that way: i have given trainers bases and made them capture pokemon for a tournament i have planned for friends, but when i load the SAVE i created in tabletop with the trainers and pokemon all set up, when i send the pokemon out using the trainer, the models show up for a brief second, and then disappear for the other players. NOT ME, but only the other players. is this because i'm the color back (dungeon master) and for some reason it is locked to only be visible to me? or is there some sort of error?

@ ChariJonas Games > Workshop > Hover over PTU Models > click ... > Search > Custom Background.

@Campix if you want just the models, no scripting right click the model, copy the SECONDARY Asset Bundle link. Then Objects > Components > Custom > Assetbundle > drag into your game and paste the SECONDARY AssetBundle link you copied.

@ChariJonas you can actually do that yourself by going to PTU Models' thing on your workshop, clicking the three dots, clicking 'Search', then saving the Custom Background as a Saved Object. That should let you pull it up wherever you want.

Or, if you don't want to go through that, you can always just spawn it if your game isn't using a background already.

These models are amazing - they're the only source on TTS that I can find that has up to Gen 8 with animations!

I figured out a few ways to separate the Pokemon from the base so that I can save object -> use them in other projects - but that 'Show' button that has all the animations still shows up behind them. Is there a way to get rid of that?

Also - concerning that 'Show' button, what does the 'Adjust' function do?

I got the workshop file updated, but for some reason it ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT upload the shiny mounts. I am tearing my hair out trying to get steam cloud to work haha.

@javcov there is a way to make the bases invisible. Switch the bases to ring mode, and then right click and set the color tint alpha to 0.

@starulan I just uploaded a fix for the uncatchable error. Just download and replace the old link files with the new ones. Let me know how that works. Also I didn't get a ton of bug checking time with the menus in multiplayer, so if anyone wants to test that out and look for bugs let me know.

@Lemon I'm not sure. I think switch toolbox is no longer being updated, and PLA wasn't compatible yet with it. So for now, it's most likely a no.

Do you have any plans on making Hisui model variants for the models you have? I see the Galarian models are added, but I didn't know if you had any intentions adding Legends Arceus models. This is fantastic as is, but just curious! :praisesun:

They are saved as .unity3d files, so they are way harder to get the model and textures from. I think that file type is encrypted to make it harder to edit, but I believe there are programs like UABE or Asset Studio that can unpack/repack textures in them. I haven't used those programs, but maybe try those? That file type is more annoying to access than .obj or .png files.

@dkmcclellan use the jump button on a trainer, and then drop it on the model to use the mount scripting!

Forgive my noob question. Once you apply Mew's script to your rider/mount, how do you get actual trainer models onto the mount pokemon?

@names_r_useless, I'm not sure what the problem is. Almost all of the pokemon are still saved to the steam could, not dropbox. Gen 8 and the mounts are from dropbox. I load the mod fine when disabling mod caching. Some googling says it might be a firewall issue?

I think there's something wrong with the Dropbox Account: "Could Not Resolve Destination Host" when I open this Workshop project. All the Pokemon Models are just 3D Squares.

The Dropbox Links return: "Server Not Found", so can't even download them.

Make sure you change your player color to black. All of the models are in a hidden zone for the GM.

they aren't in the dropbox download, but they should be in bags in the workshop mod. I'm still tinkering with some things before updating the dropbox folder.

Probably a dumb question, but I noticed that the models for the gen 8 Pokemon aren't in the download for the current redone models despite the comment saying the gen 8 models were live. Is there a way to access them or are they not actually live?
