The mod replaces a handful of files. If other mods replace those files, Character Portraits will be overridden. Nothing I can do about that -- you would need to remove other mods until it works again.

the tainted character portraits break and revert to their normal repentance portraits due to other mods, i tried reinstalling and disabled the mod, but to no avail, should i remove a few "portrait" mods?

Some other mods that alter the menu character descriptions may cause it to not work, such as the "Tainted Characters Alt Names", when deactivated, the potraits are shown correctly.

@noob_original you can go to "The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\eyeguy's character portraits_946369715\resources-dlc3\gfx\ui\main menu" and change manually the sprite of those characters with the original one with any photo editor program

wish there was a way to keep tainted lazarus and tainted samson's portraits as the original since i dont like the remade ones very much, every other character look pretty good though

this mod isn't compatible with anything that also changes the character select files. there's nothing i can do about that. it's just an image swap mod so anything that also swaps that image will conflict with it. please stop telling me it doesn't work with things. like obviously it wont

The mod clashes with anything that changes character portraits, what got it to work for me is disabling neko lost

This mod reverts the character select texts back to English, and makes some texts there look bugged.

I have been having issues that this mod isn't showing up in the game. I've tried turning off all my mods and turning them back on one by one, no luck. Not sure what is causing the issue.

Is there a way to select which portraits get changed while others stay vanilla? Because I like some of the normal ones and some of these.

Many other mods changes the portraits and they don't mention it in the desciption,so I'm wondering if it's possible to add !!!!'s in the front of mod name to priorize it

Very nice, I'm quite picky when it comes to cosmetic mods since I really only want ones that improve on what the vanilla game is meant to look like, and this does just that while also adding some personality that wasn't there before! You can really get a better idea of what a characters deal is now. Well done!

@vixencore I assumed you did since you commented on the Neko Alt Judas mod on the same date you said this mod doesn't work. Double check just In case you still have that mod on.
