I have never fully tested it with hearthfire installed verses uninstalled. I believe it would be ok as long as the mod or plugin in question doesnt make changes to winking skeever.

Do you have heartfire or dawnguard ? There maybe be a bug as I have many mods and seem to have found the weird issue you are describing but I also added recently dawnguard and heartfire to my skyrim.

Satire won't take me to her hide out! I've left her, she won't go home but follows me everywhere instead. If there's a quest with her how do I trigger it if I can't get to her hideout? Just where is her hide out anyway? I need to get past this roadblock. Help!

Enjoy your comments... Satire is designed to married as well as to be a companion which can happen while you sleep with her in the hide out. She also does not die really... you can always find her once she has been killed back where you first met. The Hide out has hidden features as well as a healing altar and magic pond... its a home for the player if you choose to stay there.

Found her and lost her quickly! First fight = DOA.. hideout wiped, only stone left. Can't see any more going on, so if that's correct i"ll have to unsubs.

Sorry for the delay, Satire has a secret, she only talks about in winking skeever. She is most likely to reveal it in the basement center.

There was indeed a bug with the enchanters or grindstones etc in version 1.2 which thanks to Incredibad I believe is corrected. Version 1.3 is now available.

Sorry she is in Solitude's Winking Skeever that is why at the end of the description I say any mod that makes changes there could possibly conflict. But your right I did not actually say.
