for some reason when i walk into an area with light like a sun it becomes this hideous bright purple but then goes back to grey in no light

I swapped 3 models. That's it. That's all it does. There is no scripting or lua.
Workshop files (specifically this one with the id in the url) are found at either of these locations on your drive:
\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\*SomeName*_945145478.gma
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\4000\945145478\
The game reads from both but the workshop downloader only checks the second directory at the time of writing.

Your mod broke my physgun. I have verified my game's files, restarted my game several times as well as my PC. Uninstalling the mod has done nothing. Your model for the physgun is still present. Installing other physgun mods have no effect either.

I'd love to know what files are actually being modified so I can fix this manually.

i went and reread your expansive methods for the sfm version in the archived facepunch thread(the flowmaps example images were half replaced by a monster girl for some reason), and wholly agree, garry's mod cannot handle it, not even close.

thank you for thinking ahead for a prop version, i love this gravity gun over everything currently on the workshop, just that my 1050ti is showing it's age during scene builds and other activities.

@That_one_Justin_guy there is a prop version hidden away in the files. Just a matter of extracting the gma and removing the thirdperson and viewmodels to disable those.

sfm version does not work in garrysmod.

can i just grab the sfm version if i want this as a prop? i want a less performance heavy gravity gun, but this gravity gun looks sublime even out of first person view.

After deleting this addon physgun didn't changed to default one. What should I do?

@nmaa19 change the color of your physgun in the playermodel menu, respawn, then swith in thirdperson so the game load your physgun color for the world model

@waltuh You have another addon fighting with it. The files included here are just a model swap with no code changes and cannot behave differently between single and multiplayer.

I have an amazing pc not bragging but its 5k im just saying that so you dont believe i have a crappy computer, i normally have 300 fps but when i pull out the physics gun IT GOES ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 20-30 fps!!! a huge change and its not good! it could need fix up please, it only does this for me in 2player i didnt try any other modes, except 2player because thats all i need it for is me and my friend but when i do it in singleplayer with a bunch of heavy mods its still fine so it must be a multiplayer texture glitch or something please fix.

hey, why does this suddenly only affect the world model and not the viewmodel anymore? it's not a massive issue but I do enjoy the viewmodel, is there a fix for this?
