Lots of reasons, a summarised version before the long one: I'm lazy.
1) I don't know how to model, or rather, i don't know how to make a model and make it work in game, general modelling i started learning a while back.
2) I'm not artistic
3) I don't see the point in downloading extra model files if the ones in game work fine especially when paired with a texture that isn't seen on guns.
4) Not really a reason, just a, I haven't touched the workshop in a long time. The item may not work, but no one has said it doesn't, so /shrug.

Also, not sure if I was just blind, or steam just didn't want me knowing there was a new comment for this, because this is the first time I've seen a notification of the new comment.

why does it use the regular pistol model?

Hopefully this latest update fixes the issues winter_moon. I tested it and it worked, but it was being screwy had to update my test addon 10+ times when changes weren't happening. Let me know if it is still broken

Odd, I had thought it was just me as I spawn as a traitor when testing and had obviously bought it to test it. I will play with this and attempt to fix it, thank you for bringing this to my attention

I believe I've found a bug with this addon. I added it to my TTT server as a donator perk via the pointshop. However I've noticed something quite odd. It works fine in the pointshop, MVP players (one of our donator ranks) can purchase it just fine, however the issue arises with oddly enough, Traitors. Traitors seem to be always given the gun upon spawning. We've tested it many times, and there's a 100% chance that traitors will be given the gun (regardless if they own it or not) when they spawn. I've had to since remove it due to this bug. I hope it's fixable, because its a really fun addon, especially as a donator perk.

This addon has just undergone a massive rework, it is possible that some features do NOT work, but all should. If you are having trouble with this item or would like help with anything that has changed leave a comment here.

No, it doesn't and up until recently I was busy at uni, so was unable to update but at some point in the next week I will try and update this and make it compatible with pointshop alongside some major revisions.

I don't know how unsubscribing works, but I am assuming that unsubscribing simply disables updates to the addon, not actually removing them, if you want to remove it, I suggest: go to your "garrysmod/addons" folder whereever you have it (C: Drive by default for Windows), look for the addon it will be called "confetti_gun_942830451.gma". From there, right click, delete.

Because it does no damage whatsoever, it would literally be detrimental to have it as an autospawnable weapon. If you extract it and put it in FastDL then you can easily make it so although I don't know why you would. Change the line that says
"SWEP.AutoSpawnable = false"
to
"SWEP.AutoSpawnable = true" to make it spawn in weapon locations.
OR
change the line that says "SWEP.InLoadoutFor = nil"
to
"SWEP.InLoadoutFor ={ROLE_TRAITOR}" - for traitors,
"SWEP.InLoadoutFor = {ROLE_DETECTIVE}" - for detective,
"SWEP.InLoadoutFor = {ROLE_TRAITOR, ROLE_DETECTIVE}" for both.

Ok I have found something. ^^ (URS) - If you are a VIP or Admin you get the weapon on spawn. PS: Some Servers selling weapons in the pointshop but I don't know. - And Thanks :)

I have no idea, never played around with pointshop, I could look into it but I didn't even know that pointshop allowed weapon buying.

So, the confetti gun, may have not actually updated, for whatever reason, after playing around in sandbox, I realised the addon isn't working properly in sandbox, even though I updated it. I will look into this. Edit: The files are there, but it didn't update, I don't even have the original files for it to make the gma, so...IDK, maybe just Windows playing up, in any case, I will update it probably later today if possible.

The weapon is now compatible with sandbox, under the category "fun", it doesn't yet have a picture as I don't know how to do so, as soon as I learn, I will update.

death, assuming that it produces errors though? these will be fixed, and i will add it to a spawn menu so you don't need to use console when I do update it for sandbox. Anyway glad that it works well enough in sandbox, have fun

DeathByRock, no, it does not currently work for sandbox, I am working on it, and it will be ready shortly (hopefully), unfortunately uni work is getting in the way.

Lumsterling, that the weapons tab of sandbox? If so, I am currently working on doing so, as to dark RP, I'll give it a go but I've never done any Dark RP coding.

Maxstamm, how are you attempting to use it, as currently I can spawn it on local server and it is a donator weapon for TTT, if you're trying to spawn it any other way then, no is not going to work
