Jaime Wolf Feb 23, 2013 @ 7:50pm
Hey man i still use your mod after downloading it on day 1. Nice work
CastIronBoomstick Sep 1, 2012 @ 4:31pm
Hey man, I know you said you'd try to make sure that the main city and the road clear from obstructing trees, but there are about twenty places on the road and at least five in the city that are obscured by trees. Could you just do a quick run of the roads and the town and touch that up? Id do it myself, but I have no idea how this stuff works. That said, love the mod, really brings falkreath into its own. Id use the skyrim nexus version like you reccomend, but Ive never gotten their mod loader to work.

Thanks for the heads up kuulkuul89. I'll add that mod to the description.

sorry bad typing ,been up for a few days with insomnia.
greybing May 31, 2012 @ 2:26pm
teh person could have used 'idioti',which was their meaning. This IS gaming [don'y qite see the logic of you argument there. It is not the one use of of the world 'gay' describing idiotic behaviour but rather it is a further promotion of that linkage o the word 'gay;and idiotic. He was not using it as you say .If I remember him saying correctly he said the trees in the nod were gay and described how they did notyfunctionally work properly, being too large for dragons.I am not in comfortable with censorship ggenerally ,i just think his choice of word was ill-tyhought out ..i guessed he was young rather tahn aa bigot and i suspected it was said in innocence but my argument stands
xweto May 16, 2012 @ 10:15am
just one word....

AMAZING!!!
Xylō Apr 14, 2012 @ 5:14am
lol whos being angry about someone saying gay? hes using it as a descriptive word for those of you who cant TAKE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JOKE... jesus ♥♥♥♥ off this is gaming
alenha Apr 8, 2012 @ 9:16am
Hey guys if you install this mod...check your helgen dungeon after.

Zee Captain Apr 8, 2012 @ 4:14am
Fantastic mod, this really helps with one of my core issues with Skyrim: That it looks to small. When your vision starts to be obscured by the landscape it makes it easier to suspend disbelief and actually think that the game is a large wilderness rather than a small backyard :)

Any plans of exanding this to the entire game (or know of any similar mods that do this)? Personaly I could live with some trees beeing in the middle of the road if I could get this kind of immersion gamewide instead of in one area.
alenha Apr 2, 2012 @ 6:32am
@ greybing...where you came from? What planet are you from??
greybing Mar 19, 2012 @ 7:07pm
gamer thing...no,just say idiotic or something else...i sensed it may not be homophobic but still....no need to use that word in a derogatory context...it is infantile.
Pappaous Mar 12, 2012 @ 6:24pm
Excellent work, so far. Thank you.
Engi Mar 10, 2012 @ 10:40am
Couses crash on startup, needs work.
MinkyUrungus Mar 3, 2012 @ 5:29pm
He wanted to say "gay" so he did. It's a gamer thing and should be taken lightly. His use of the word won't magically incite a homophobic bloodlust in us.
greybing Mar 2, 2012 @ 11:51am
Dovakhin Michael.I dont want to get into a slanging match but I find your use of the word 'gay' used in a derogatory context offensive. If i was to describe something i did not like as 'straight' then ,well maybe you can see my point.Your use of the word gay in the derogatory context implies that there is something 'wrong' with being gay ,akin to this mod.Not on...why not just say bad.

Like others have said before me, it's not perfect, and has some flaws, but it's still a very cool mod that I'm really enjoying. The size of the trees adds a lot of density to the forest, making it much more mysterious and exciting to explore. In fact, because the trees are so big and obstruct so much of your view, Falkreath actually winds up seeming like a much bigger village than it is :) Awesome. Definitely a thumbs up for me; I would love to see you actually add more trees to make the forest EVEN denser (like a REAL forest). Don't all have to be massive trees either; have some variety! Little trees are okay too :3
AlpineCamembear Feb 28, 2012 @ 2:59pm
I really love this mod. It adds a lot of depth and flavour to the forested part of Skyrim. One thing I would suggest is some fine tuning. A substantial number of trees' roots aren't properly connected to the ground. This does happen in nature, but it's harder to emulate in a game. You could either lower them, so the trees are firmly in the ground, or bring some dirst up out of the ground around them as though the ground under the root has fallen away.

Needs work
Replicant-Six Feb 26, 2012 @ 3:51am
A REALLY cool mod that I have been looking for - however, I'm choosing not to use this yet as there are still some cleaning up to do, as other commenters have already mentioned. Some of the trees look weird, and I got extremely annoyed by brances arching in over the roads and obscuring them. There were also some trees and bushes in the very town of Falkreath that obscurred my vision. Still, I've given this mod my thumbs up!
Thick Feb 23, 2012 @ 7:57am
This mod is great. I hated the fact that the forests of Oblivion far outclassed the ones in Skyrim. Now when I travel through the Southwest regions it's a totally awesome experience. Highly recommend this mod to anyone looking for forests.
Orknarok Feb 22, 2012 @ 2:59pm
that is gay!
when come a dragon , they cannot come to the bodem !!
trees to high !! :D
Hakke Feb 20, 2012 @ 8:17pm
sounds great! i also think skyrim needs an real forest !
Tinabelle Feb 20, 2012 @ 5:27pm
This needs to be across all of skyrim so badly... :(
Thomasking Feb 20, 2012 @ 12:07pm
Opposite of solitude is a wood that could use some extra larger trees, where meeko's cabin is.
Btw, awesome mod, but the trees shrink in size when you look at them from a distance haha, that kinda makes the feeling go away. Hope you can change that..
High Vibe Honey Feb 20, 2012 @ 1:45am
This is exactly what Ive been looking for! All the trees in Skyrim look so young when the land itself is so old. That never made sense to me. You fixed this. I hope you will expand beyond Falkreath. :)
Avollach Feb 17, 2012 @ 10:31am
Complete it and you have my subs and thumbs up!
Deebes  [author] Feb 14, 2012 @ 12:44am
Restored the tree to its original size with the person against the tree. I'll look into the branches when I can.
RadlyBradley Feb 13, 2012 @ 10:04pm
I was having trouble with some trees all over the world not laoding correctly. Disabled this mod and it was fixed.
31Victor Feb 13, 2012 @ 9:16pm
I found a tree that needs to be fixed. It's just outside of the DB door. Someone gets impailed to the tree, but now he's inside the tree. Also, I seen some trees that just the branches are bigger, so they look a bit odd. They were also near the door, up the hill a bit.

I like this, like a real forest, very immersive!
pluton Feb 13, 2012 @ 9:40am
can you please add this to the whole world, i really love this
Deebes  [author] Feb 12, 2012 @ 9:43pm
I haven't edited the navmesh, but I don't think anyone has reported of NPC pathing issues. But due to the size of the area, people probably haven't had a chance to run into anything yet. Most of the issues I've found are NPC's not wanting to jump off a small rock and going for a 50 metre jog around it instead.
Malachi Feb 12, 2012 @ 8:52pm
Love this mod, no fps hit for me.
Glynn Feb 12, 2012 @ 8:09pm
Have you edited the navmesh? Because will NPC's hate this?
MitErMit Feb 12, 2012 @ 3:28pm
good ider i like thes on you ♥♥♥♥ rart to make thes thumbs up mate
Deebes  [author] Feb 12, 2012 @ 6:54am
I was thinking about it and may eventually look into giving The Rift and Hjaalmarch (swampy place) a similar treatment. The other holds didn't bother me as much as Falkreath.
kruall Feb 12, 2012 @ 5:04am
awesome but are you doing it to other holds aswell?
Ceiis Feb 11, 2012 @ 9:40pm
This is very beautiful. Thank you for your hard work, Falkreath really needed it. Great Job!
Deebes  [author] Feb 11, 2012 @ 7:54pm
You will find an FPS hit (5-10 FPS on my system while running both Flora Overhaul and Lush Trees) but I can't speak on the behalf of people with different settings, mods and hardware.

In regards to Lush Trees and Flora Overhaul conflicting with the mod, from my experience with just riding around for a bit, I didn't see many (any?) conflicts. Though you'll find branches clipping through things and getting in the way of paths a lot more.

This is the first real time I've used the construction set (including all the way back to Morrowind), so my knowledge is minimal at best.
Camellia Feb 11, 2012 @ 4:13pm
And yeah is there any FPS hit?
Camellia Feb 11, 2012 @ 4:11pm
Any conflict with the Flora Overhaul mod?
I am Groot Feb 11, 2012 @ 8:19am
Any FPS hit with this ??.
DD The Pumpkin King Feb 11, 2012 @ 7:50am
Hm this is nice. Before I actually discovered Falkreath I had read in the skyrim books that Falkreath was known for it's large trees and forest. I was actually slightly disappointed but this is makes it really cool. ^_^ Thumbs up
Ceiis Feb 10, 2012 @ 10:45pm
Great idea!
i am a cat Feb 10, 2012 @ 12:16pm
Will this conflict with Flora Overhaul or Lush Trees?
Jon Yew Feb 10, 2012 @ 11:51am
I like trees, and I like this mod. :) ty. Favorited
SevenSins Feb 10, 2012 @ 10:30am
