Not a good map if you want to make a 1 to 1 recreation or something similar. The Elevation is way off and the extra hills are unnecessary. Nice try, tourist.

Hampton Roads traffic gives me PTSD. If you know you know

Halp! I love the map but it has ghosts!
There are long roads and bridges ignoring all kinds of physical laws with moving vehicles on them. They go in and out of the terrain like nobodys buisness. I cannot delete the roads but I can click on cars to see information.

Update: I found a road I built with anarchy on. It somehow got attached to some form of extra dimensional portal to another build from god alone knows. I used the move it bulldozer and deleted the portal and kicked the ghosts back to where they came from.

All in a days work I gues...

i subscribed to this because im currently living here but can you also add a snow version of the area.

did you do this by hand? if so, how'd you figure out the scale to work at - id like to create a city i know and think the biggest issue i can think of is topography and scale so that once i populate the city it makes sense..
is there a way to import real map data from google or something?

All it needs to be realistic is a tunnel that backs up 5 miles on either side

Pretty accurate. Just need lots of junked up roads and unbelievably stupid drivers, then it's just like home.

Never gets old. I live in VB. I should purposely make a ton of traffic on the highway.

this map is broken. Planes will never land. Then they all stack up in the air flying forever. I deleted 3 of the air connections from 3 borders and still they won't land. They only take off.

Must be a mod causing this, I tested it with disasters enabled (which for you it may advisble to disable) and whilst i didnt get a tsunami, the map is pretty flat, so any flat map is likely to be obliterated with a massive tsunami

Note to self, don't get Disaster DLC

Great map, one issue. When I start (I have disasters DLC) around like 2,000 people some insane tsunami will blow up my entire city killing off my population... Wondering if this could stop sense its happened twice.

@mpkossen The starting tile interchange is on the workshop, the other interchange as per picture number 2 was custom made for this map and is not on the workshop :)

Does anybody know if the default interchange was custom made or is it a workshop item? Love the look of it.

My problem with this map was the rivers: a single pump and drain on the starting tile placed at opposite ends of the river destroyed it. Like, what kind of trickle or a "river" is this?

edit: i just noticed i´m stuck on infinite loading for this too, like your riverdale map. any clue why ?
