Great mod, but I think that you should take it out of the shop pool. It's a little too powerful and out of place to find in the shop.

Pretty much a faster but less powerful when it comes to killing multiple things quickly Lost Fly.

I'm just some random nerd on the internet, so you don't have to listen to me. Just sorta think it would look a bit better with an actual name.

@Ancient well it's not really a pet, it is just an animal that wants some bugs, I know isaac isn't set in Australia but here it's not uncommon to have geckos (though not that green/orange type, I changed it to that to have it look a bit brighter and less boring) hanging around or in your place to eat spiders or moths that go for your lights and such.

Though I guess Isaac could still give it a name even though it's not really his pet.

How about Naming it Gex from the Game "Gex 3D"?

As well as the sprites, a rename might be in order. Most of Isaac's pets in the game have names (i.e. Guppy, Cricket, Max, etc.) Not sure what a good gecko name would be, but just throwing ideas around.

I'm not a great spriter, before I released the mod I had been asking in a few different places for spriters, but in the end I just got tired of the fully functional mod just sitting on my PC for days waiting for a good spriter to agree to help.

If anyone thinks they can make the sprites better then by all means send me a link to your updated version of the spritesheet (found under resources/gfx/entities) and I'll have a look.

I am with fpichon, the idea is great and it seem to be fully focntional, but the sprites are ... meh.

I really like the idea, but the sprite of the gecko doesn't really fit the Isaac theme. I think if you work some more on it and make it waaaay smaller, it could actually be added to the actual game!
