You have alienated Nezha.:Lotus:

The skin is great, and although I do like the helmet, I'm a bit disappointed that it's so similar to his original. You still have my vote, but I'd love to see something more unique in the future.

default Nezha skin is so bland with so many large areas on solid color..
wether a frame looks good is one of the criteria for me to use it..
with this skin I might actually use Nezha

The sculpted abdominals look kind of like overcompensation...

I can appreceate the work you've put into this skin, and I particularly like the little dragon/basilisk design you've done on the front of his skirt, but this is just not my cup of tea. Too bumpy for my tastes.
Eternallypink Jun 11, 2017 @ 6:39am
I like the helm but the rest of the body looks shoddy as hell.
Tothetix Jun 5, 2017 @ 9:55am
@screamheart i remeber when this was just a helmet and how the textures didn't fit, but after having a look at the full reskin it makes a perfect skin for Nezha.

thank you for creating something different to what is mostly put onto this workshop
(*cough cough* all the bloody Exial skins and ash skins)
Finras Jun 4, 2017 @ 11:34am
PS. texure res is at ? looks like 5K+ if its above like 2k ( most liky 1k) they will down size it due to its just too big lol.... not joking...
Finras Jun 4, 2017 @ 11:32am
i think even if this got a ton of votes for yes... it wont make it due to it would be soo much work for DE to fix it...File size is sooo huge, it will hurt the game... they would have to down size n do w.e to make it much less ....
Finras Jun 4, 2017 @ 11:30am
love the skin for gay kid, just not a fan of the helment lol, hope it works well with other helemets some how xd
StrongHold Jun 3, 2017 @ 3:16pm
praise your gaylord nezha
paradox Jun 2, 2017 @ 1:53pm
Ah so theres an underlying colour in the scales that allows for more variety in how you colour the skin? that makes sense, i didnt catch that. I still think that the blade wheels on the head look a lil weird, but otherwise i guess its ok?
Screamheart  [author] Jun 1, 2017 @ 9:44pm
@paradox I chose this 'scale' design, because I wanted the player to be able to make the connection they chose. They work as scales, but they also work as magma rock, which both work for the style. A repeating scale pattern would be very easy to do compared to this, but it would also be somewhat boring and repetitive.
paradox Jun 1, 2017 @ 12:44pm
but from little research i've done, nezha was a dragon slayer and his firey wheels more likely have a connection to the sun rather than to dragons. Unless the implication here is that nezha has gone full chroma and is wearing the skins of his defeated foes. Which would actually be pretty metal, if a little odd.

All i'm trying to say is that nezha is the "third lotus prince" in chinese lore and his set seems to reflect the divine appearance of such a mythological figure. The reptilian appearance doesnt even really reflect chinese dragons as their scales tend to be in layered patterns rather then oddly mottled like this skin is.
Screamheart  [author] Jun 1, 2017 @ 9:50am
@paradox Nezha is from Chinese lore. Chinese lore is dragon heavy. The frame also has fire abilities, which can be tied to dragons.

@Erneix Like I said before, the file size doesn't matter. The file has 6 textures for the helm and 6 textures for the skin. Those file sizes will not change AT ALL. Then there is the model for the body, which I cannot change AT ALL. Then there is my helmet model, which has a cap of 5,000 tris. My helmet is under that cap, so there is technically some room to make it bigger and stay within the limit.
■ WillFrost Jun 1, 2017 @ 1:21am
@Erneix look up "bump mapping"... it's mostly textured surfaces, not polygons (or at least I imagine it is...)

+ 1 in agreement of this skin being out of place tbh...
paradox May 31, 2017 @ 4:45pm
he looks really weird. freakin lizard people... I'm still a little confused on how this aesthetic goes at all with nezha, it seems stangely out of place
Alpharr May 31, 2017 @ 1:55pm
I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT, Nezha is probably my most used and most favourite warframe :D
Capn Queer May 31, 2017 @ 12:33pm
alright now that it's got a fucking sweet reptillian skin to go with it i would totally buy this. Nezha needs skins, like seriously, his workshop items are almost as sparse as Hydroid's, and Hydroid has ONE ITEM. anyways, yeah, fucking sweet, shut up and take my money.
Benjamin_Smaridge™ May 31, 2017 @ 11:22am
@Erneix half of the skins in game already are XD
Erneix May 31, 2017 @ 11:18am
sorry for sound like a bitch you have to learn more there is no way a file can be this heavy.
Erneix May 31, 2017 @ 11:16am
dude do you even know about how game engine works? cause this is heavy file and warframe cant take it how much poly does it have ?
MABER May 31, 2017 @ 9:52am
the abs on his chest makes his skin looks very weird.
Screamheart  [author] May 31, 2017 @ 9:47am
@Benjamin_Smaridge Thanks for the info. I was not a fan of the tubes in the front since they made it very hard to do anything new/interesting with them. Though after messing with them for hours I am somewhat happy with the result, so I will probably leave them, but that is very good to know.
Benjamin_Smaridge™ May 31, 2017 @ 3:45am
"Note: Body models cannot be physically changed, only re-skinned/textured."
you are entirely correct in that however one thing that DE have said is that you are allowed to leave parts untextured, rendering them invisable, one thing that can also be done (see: Mirage Mithra) is that aditional parts can be textured as an energy texture, for instance the ring on his back. i do love your texture on the ring though, it's a pretty nice upgrade from what was there originally.
DR. BITCHCRAFT, PhD May 30, 2017 @ 6:04pm
Ye boiiiiiii.
Thank you for being very special space dust.
MABER May 30, 2017 @ 1:03pm
I like the idea of the helm but sadly dont like the scales on either helm or frame, just looks like a layer of rock.

ignore the fact that Paint.net links to some random site :|
■ WillFrost May 29, 2017 @ 1:55pm
Here are some suggestions for breaking up the larger areas:
http://i.imgur.com/fR3IbO4.png new colour spread
http://i.imgur.com/Hj5jHLa.png just the changes (to make it easier for you to see)
sorry about the shit quality, just threw that together in Paint.net in a few seconds
■ WillFrost May 29, 2017 @ 1:43pm
maybe add a mix of colours to the flame patterns, one for the inside, and another for the outside or something... just an idea
■ WillFrost May 29, 2017 @ 1:42pm
on another note, I feel that parts such as the upper legs could use a better mix of colours. Having them just use one makes them feel a little flat
■ WillFrost May 29, 2017 @ 1:41pm
nice, that helps.

I certainly think the skin and helm combo is an improvement from your original just helmet design...

I still feel that it doesn't quite match the current aesthetic of the game. Wouldn't be the first time a skin like that has actually made it into the game though, so hey, best of luck! :)
Screamheart  [author] May 29, 2017 @ 12:00pm
@WillFrost Thanks for the feedback. I will get more images up.

@Erneix The file size doesn't really have any affect on the model. Helmets are limited to 5k tris and 6 textures that are 2048x1024, the skin is limited to the tris of w/e the model the Devs made is and 6 textures of 2048x2048. The file size will not change much no matter if I submitted blank textures, or if I added as much fine detail as possible.
Erneix May 29, 2017 @ 9:51am
dude look at file size.
Durasoph May 29, 2017 @ 8:19am
Beautiful, with the skin if fits so much better than with just the helm alone. Excelent work.
Siviks, Kell of Hondas May 29, 2017 @ 8:18am
Nooot quite. Better, but needs a good deal of polishing and finer detail before it meets in-game quality. Remember we're going to be paying 5.99 IRL money for these.
■ WillFrost May 29, 2017 @ 5:29am
certainly fits better with the skin, would be nice to get an image with 5 very different colours on the skin to see where the different colour areas are
rozrea14 May 29, 2017 @ 3:04am
OMG Yes!! I want this! So great to see that you've made a skin to go with the helmet too ^_^
Chill May 29, 2017 @ 1:36am
Looks pretty cool, the only real issue I can see DE having is the dragon face on the front, just seems out of place, but we have stuff like monk atlas and stewardess nova so who knows? Hopefully it gets in, looks dope.
