Anyone know if this mod is still supported or should still be working? Just reinstalled Skyrim and added the mod but it doesn't appear to work for me.

Many thanks to you. I have mild arachnophobia, and the loading screen & in-game spiders really creep me out. This makes it so I can actually play without being scared of running into a horrid creepy crawly. Thank you, again.

Thanks so much for this mod. Vanilla got to the point I was running out of caves/dungeons as soon as I saw the crawlies; and my followers didn't know whether to fight, or run after me! :P

For all you wonderful folks that are considering this, here's the breakdown:
Works great on the 'ol skyrim. I haven't seen a spider yet, and the big 'uns are gone, which is great. It's all been skeevers. What this DOESN'T change: The Chauruses. No chaurus has been changed, so be ready for that. Also, all the bugs/arachnids that are in Solstheim are not changed, so there's that. Solstheim has ice spiders. :|

I have been using this mod for over a year and now I am naturally dependent on it. Have you considered uploading this to Bethesda.net? I'm sure PS4 and Xbox One console players could really use this mod!

i hope that one day, devs will be original and not make spiders there mainstay rpg or fantasy enemy. arachniphobia is a very serius phobia. its not one of the easy ones to overcome, and for some it is dibilitating. i feel like were the butt of the industrys joke lol. my condition has gotten worse with age. years ago i was like oh hay frotbite spider, please leave,. now i cant look at the screen.

I just want to say, the reason I'm installing this is because I still remember the sheer terror I felt when the Wounded Frostbite Spider in the barrow or crypt or whatever it was, with the golden claw, dropped from above. And, in the Dawnguard DLC, when you go down the waterall, and a bunch of spiders come down with you. I closed my eyes and just spammed the attack button, praying they'd be dead in the water... It's getting a little hard to breathe just thinking about it. Thank you so much.

Some one commented about Spiders being in Fellglow Keep i just checked it and only found 2 Skeevers. (Meaning the mod changed them.)

Can't you just remove *all* types of spiders? If you are able to remove/replace Frostspiders just do the same with all the others. I almost sh*t my pants...

Just bought the addons and got warned by a friend that there are new spider races since the addons.

It's worked with every spider encounter so far in my game, except for once on a loading screen. However, that may be because I have the Uncle Sheogorath's Tips and Tricks mod, so take that with a grain of salt. It's also only glitched once, with the skeever not fully spawning - just blinking in and out of reality, but it's still a great mod!

what a great mod - so helpful to so many - gotta give it a go....
I will note that working through the game, made it easier for me to deal with the icky things, but if they ever got the drop on me - so not worth it - I'm guessing the quickness is still there ??? Cheers

But I just encountered a Spider in the loading screen. Scared the sh*it out of me. Any way to remove them from the loading screens?
