And who cares that it's not easily customizable? Not everyone needs it to be, such as me. The default configuration is wonderful if you want to use the default weapons, which isn't some minuscule niche.

Well don't just take it down because of that; just let them know what they're actually getting. That's what the description section is for. And the thought that just because you didn't get all you wanted out of this means it's not worth anything is just daft. Everything that has been contributed to the Workshop is worth something to someone. One man's trash is another's treasure.

No but with other loot mods featuring the kind of customization I eventually wanted to add, I didn't want people finding this one so easily thinking they'd get that experience then complaining rather pointlessly in my comments for days on end about the lack of such features that may or may not ever be added.

If I had the necessary knowledge then that whole thing wouldn't really matter because then i could actually put some work into an update or something. Otherwise it's mostly still up for preservation purposes... or if I decide I wanna try again....

Well, you put effort into this, no matter how well you think you did, and there's no downside to having it public, so why private it? It still exists on the Workshop servers so the space it takes up is still the same either way, and it's not hurting anyone.

I didn't unlist this because I didn't think it was good, I unlisted it because other modders started making other loot mods with features I wanted to add before I could. I lacked the skills to beat them to it.

I'm kinda glad they did it though cuz now people dont need to wait for however long it takes me to teach myself how to code this stuff.

It also always felt like the praise I was getting over this was undeserved due to my lack of expertise leading to an inability to make good on many many plans I had.

@XxX_SashaMLG420_XxX, I want to update this more than you want me to, but I lack the necessary expertise to do so and was probably gonna try to find someone to pass the torch onto. On top of that, not very long after I originally released this mod, someone else beat me to all the features I planned in their own loot mod such as in-game loot customization menus.

Under these circumstances, I decided to stop all work on my mod and linked the other more-developed loot mod.

@C0sm0s, This mod was deliberately made to be universal to allow dropping items from every NPC. I think I do remember it was possible to make specific NPCs drop various weapons and items, but that would be a separate mod on its own even if I updated this mod to the point where I'd say it's finished and then I'd need to make a file for each different NPC so people have options, blah blah blah...

TLDR: I'd have to make a new mod that would end up leading to a lot more work than actually needed.

Ok, well I do wish the best outcome for you and most important, time, you should take some time when doing stuff, I do wish good for you. And thank you for the update since I've been tabbing on here once in a while.

@Pyri, So far a minor update is planned to adjust loot drop frequency. I haven't made much progress into figuring out how to add the major menu update I had initially planned on release. The minor update's release date is still TBD as I haven't had the heart to work on mods much in the past few months and I have to figure out how to use the upload tool that comes with the game as I previously wasn't aware of its existence.

After the minor update, the mod will most likely officially be abandoned waiting for someone else to try and pick it up. I kinda bit off more than I could chew with this mod and it pains me to say that I may be unable to make this live up to even my own expectations within the foreseeable future.

Everytime i Kill a combine soldier , Rebel or a zombie the weapon just dissapears... What is the problem?

@Pvt Oinks, I've never seen that. But then again I think I only reloaded the Alyx Gun once. Not sure. Wouldn't rule out a mod conflict tho.

The Alyx gun shakes the entire screen when you reload.

@Pvt. Oinks, you can fire and reload them but they don't have proper models and animations for first-person.

Annabelle and the Alyx Gun don't even work man...

@Pvt. Oinks, I added both Annabelle and the Alyx Gun to the default drop pool at users' requests. It's been a while so I can't remember exactly how many users asked for it. As for the gun's existence, blame Facepunch for that. They're the ones who added to the game in the first place and they're the ones who allowed it to drop from Grigori without mods as-is.

Please remove Annabelle from the drops please. That weapon shouldn't even exist.

The only thing i really want added to this is a way to disable loot for specific NPCs. Some things like Antlions i actually prefer to not drop any loot whatsoever. But don't get me wrong i LOVE this addon to death.

@Pyri, There are no console commands at all yet. And I don't know how to make any yet which is one of the main reasons there's no menu for this either.
