STORI3D PAST Productions. so that mean your mods are up for grabs for other modders to update ?

Hi. I'm glad you like the mod. Sadly I am not modding for the game anymore. After 0.7 it doesn't play well on my computer and everything is much more frustrating than it used to be to create. But if someone else would like to create an additional mod that adds those, that sounds like a great idea.

like it, but is there any chance to get Windows for the "House Half Stone Double Windows"? (found in Treasure, very large Window for a Stone Wall)

ohhhhhhhhhhohhhhhhhhhhhhhhohhhhhhhhhhhhhh snap

Hey Xelthia. I worked on those windows soooo many hours, trying to balance the transparency vs the ability to actually see the colored Medieval glass. Part of the issue is that the game registers sunlight and torchlight very differently. So any choice I make to optimize one will really screw it up for others. Short answer, no, sorry, those windows are as they are!
titanius anglesmith Jan 14, 2020 @ 5:10am
is there a way to make the windows more transparent? :)
titanius anglesmith Dec 25, 2019 @ 11:32am
can you make diag / slope ones ?

Hi buntfalke. I don't know what may have happened. I haven't many any changes to the mod in 9 months, and the game software hasn't been updated since then either. Unfortunately the 0.7 version of the game came with a lot of strange bugs, and this might be one of them. I'm sorry that it's affecting the windows for you, that's no fun.
buntfalke77 Nov 9, 2019 @ 10:07am
Hello, nice mod - i really like it.

I have a question:
I would like to use these "windows to open" in squared windows with shutters.
Here i can only use it opening to outside.
I would like to use it reverse - opening to inside.
That is because in higher buildings i can only operate them from inside.
When both shutters and windows open outside, i can only shut one of them, not both.
Month ago these "windows to open" could be build in both directopns.
What happened?

Thank you, buntfalke77

Ooh. I had forgotten about that block. That’s a good idea! I’ll look at it.
Elsass Frei Mar 2, 2019 @ 12:00pm
Hi! It's me again.
Will you add a glass window for the new vanilla double windows block? I tried to find a trick with it, with no success ^^
DELTA 1 Feb 23, 2019 @ 6:33pm
This mod is freaking awesome-my churches now have amazing stained glass. Thanks for making something that totally should be included with the game. Nice work!

Hi SchmidiGonzales. After the huge new 0.7 game update releases, I will take a look and see if I can add in versions that will fit the diagonal walls mod. I agree, that would be a nice addition.
SchmidiGonzales Jan 27, 2019 @ 7:06am
Hey there,
Thx a lot for your mods! You are doing a great job!!! :)
I really like your working windows. But now I have some troubles in my castle concerning the diagonal walls with windows... Are you going to update your mod with those working windows? Maybe you can find some time to spend on this suggestion?! :)
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Jan 5, 2019 @ 4:56am
Hi Elsass. A known problem with any animated part on a ship. I thiught I had solved it with the windows but just like you say, when systems restart they can randomly break. No known way of getting around it yet — I should rename this mod and remove the “Boat Ready” note
Elsass Frei Jan 5, 2019 @ 3:05am
Only happens with the closing square ones. The decorative ones are OK
Elsass Frei Jan 5, 2019 @ 2:35am
Hello, I built a nice ship last night with those windows on it, all were ok. But since the server restarted placing one of them makes the full boat collapse and shaking.. It looks like something is wrong with the mass when placed on dynamic grid.
titanius anglesmith Sep 23, 2018 @ 8:59am
slope and diaganals yessssssssss and maybe flat ones too :3
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Sep 23, 2018 @ 8:11am
Hey Xelthia. That would be a nice idea. I can make a 45-degree angle regular square window. Next time I spend time on this mod I'll add that, thanks for the suggestion!
titanius anglesmith Sep 22, 2018 @ 2:12am
can make slope / diaganal windows too ?
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Sep 20, 2018 @ 5:33pm
Wolfgar I think has some clear glass windows. They may do the trick!
Destruction Sep 20, 2018 @ 4:59pm
Could you make a clearer glass thing? If you are making a tank (like I am) you won't want some colorful patterns but something you can see out of reliably.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Jul 24, 2018 @ 4:58pm
Thanks for the nice note @Kchorniy! Of course it’s ok, I’m glad you’re getting good use out of them.
Kchorniy Jul 24, 2018 @ 3:25pm
Thank you so much for the mod, the windows are really pretty and in my opinion work very well with a castle I have published! I hope that is okay with you (I have credited you). :steamhappy:

Known bug introduced in 6.3. The devs are working on a fix. It usually happens when a few transparent objects are placed together. I had hoped that today's hotfix would have fixed it! I guess not :(
Burkey Apr 10, 2018 @ 7:33am
thers a bug whehe if you place a window you cant see thoght it.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Feb 19, 2018 @ 10:56am
Thank you much, Michael. I'm glad you're enjoying them!
Michael Feb 19, 2018 @ 10:04am
excellent! very nice windows.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Jan 22, 2018 @ 7:23am
Hey kzweyr. I'm trying to find out from the devs whether they're going to fix the placement of those log window openings, or leave them alone. If they're not going to adjust them, I may go ahead and add a "log wall" variant for my windows. I'll let you all know! I find it frustrating too. :)
Avalon Jan 21, 2018 @ 4:11pm
I finally got to the point where I could start using these in my current game. Yes, unfortunately these windows don't line up quite right with the log walls. The size is the same from what I can tell, they just lowered the window base ever so slightly from the clay and stone walls. It's sad :( I was so excited too! Oh well, back to clay walls I go!
arielwyndwalker Jan 12, 2018 @ 7:28pm
Thank you very much! I am starting to wonder if my game has gotten bugged. My character currently has a 'block head' & not quite sure how to get rid of it lol.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Jan 12, 2018 @ 7:20pm
Hey @arielwyndwalker. I'll try to take a look into that. It could easily be that the new log-wall models line up differently and cause a gap. I'm going out ot town tomorrow morning so it could be a few days before I get a good look at it, but I'll try.
arielwyndwalker Jan 12, 2018 @ 6:58pm
I seem to be having a problem with any of the window mods to fit the 'log walls'. Anyone else having this problem? I get a gap at the bottom of window no matter what I do.

You're very welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying them & I really appreciate the note! Merry Christmas to you too.

Thank you for updating these beautiful windows! Merry Christmas!

Yeah I've started thinking about that as an option. Would be great for the windmill-powered one since the toolhead can be swapped out. If we ever get a Workshop system where mods can be automatically linked or interconnected, it would make things like that easier!
Nuclear Autumn Dec 11, 2017 @ 6:28pm
Any possibility of adding sand production to either your Manual or Windmill-Powered Ore Crusher mods? If the desert sand idea doesn't work out, I mean.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Dec 2, 2017 @ 8:43am
I feel like I saw "Sand" in the vanilla game's SBCs. If so, hopefully it would be easy to bring that into the game as an asset, which can then be used easily. I want to test it to make sure that making a big change like that doesn't break people's builds though.
TheBoot Dec 1, 2017 @ 8:22pm
That's an interesting idea. Would you have to grind down sandstone or just dig in the desert? By the way, I didn't have any problem seeing the glass in my game either. Looks quite nice!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Dec 1, 2017 @ 7:29pm
Just an oversight @TheBoot. Not a bad idea to do that. Though to be honest I think I want to drop that grinding mechanic and use sand from the desert to make glass. Still thinking about that one
TheBoot Dec 1, 2017 @ 7:11pm
Interesting... is it by design that you can't craft sand in an automated mill? I first tried both fine and coarse stones in my automated mill but it wouldn't accept small stones no matter what. Finally built the hand powered mill and there's my sand! Totally cool if this is how you intended it to be.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Nov 25, 2017 @ 9:32am
Hei @Hupadgh-Shagg. I have tried to reproduce the problem, but I can't. The glass always seems to work fine for me. (Screenshot here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1211342872) . If it keeps happening to you, try unsubscribing from the mod, and then resubscribing. Might just be a bug in the download.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] Nov 25, 2017 @ 5:17am
Glass not visible? Hmm I wonder if they made a change to transparency with a hotfix. I’ll check this out next time I’m at the computer. Thanks for the heads-up!
Hupadgh-Shagg Nov 25, 2017 @ 4:24am
So I've tried using these but the glass is not visible? I get the iron casement and I guess that'd look cool as a prison window, but I'm trying to use them for a library and books tend to be sensitive to the elements. What gives?
DPT Wanderer Nov 16, 2017 @ 3:36pm
to Köbi i personally don't mind scaffolding if you can undo the construction of said scaffolding( due to it being realistic) example if one were to build a clock tower (like the Elizabeth tower) youd need to build out side of the building with scaffolding before building the exterior supporting walls same to fit the glass into the windows in some cases as if i am correct a majority of glass windows at the time were fitted from the outside not to mention if you have shutters on said windows and they open you need to be able to close said window shutters and they are fitted on the outside

THX !!! Awesome mod!
Köbi Aug 22, 2017 @ 2:37pm
True. :) But I install them in my tower. And I think most people will try to install them from the inside. Because you dont want to build scafoldings. Its just the more logical side in survival. It doesent matter for me, but I see allready confused noobs incoming. :) But otherwise you would have confused creative flying builder. Can't win that one. :)
