Had to restart the game few times but it finally works, it is a small thing for sure, yet stil one of the most annoying thing I have ever faced with in Skyrim.

Guys it worked for me. Press the ~ key and type showracemenu. 2. change you gender to woman than back to man.

Use the thing you use to turn furs into leather, then you can add the mask to both the cowl and the hood.

This did absolutely nothing for me. I'm using a dark elf so it has nothing to do with the beast races. I've restarted the game, taken the cowl on and off, un and re-subscribed, etc. Does anyone know what's happening?

What about the "Shrouded Hood"? It's mask also fails with male Dragonborns, and I actually prefer it over the Cowl.

Also, "..the Shrouded Cowl Maskless didn't have the mask on male characters." I think that one's a no brainer.

The mod may have some bugs, but it's much better than going without the mask..

tobad no support for beasts. my Khajiit female amde me sad she didnt get it. :c if you can ever make a fix for beasts that'd be cool.

@Baysa, if I had the know-how, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I just don't really know how I'd go about fixing this issue. If I can think of any way that I can decrease the clipping issues, I'll be sure to update the mod.

Do you think you could make an updated version for male men with better clipping?

@Thetimewarpx3, I'd also love if I could make it that way, but unfortunately I'm not really sure how to go about that. The clipping is pretty much not avoidable without removing beards and making the chin small. Sorry.

@Baysa, I made note of that in the mod description. Beard/chin clipping will occur if the chin area is too large. I wish I had a way around this, but unfortunately I don't.

@josephhefner54321, you're more than welcome to make any changes that you'd like in the Construction Kit for personal use. If you choose to upload it to the workshop, all I ask is that you give me credit for the original mod. Otherwise, have at it!

@mlewis25, unfortunately, you will have to remove your beard in order for this mod to work. The mesh I used for the replacement cowl does have some clipping issues if you have a beard or large chin. I don't really know how to fix it. Sorry :(

@wexman6, sorry to hear that :( I wish I knew a fix for it, but I'm just not really sure how to get around the clipping issue.

Not very good. Half of my neck/chin is sticking out of the cowl.

It's good and all, but I'd like it to work without making my character a small-chinned, hairless freak o' nature. If you could see your way to patching this, that would be lovely.

If you don't understand, let me explain: say that I actually want to create my own dbhood would this be compatible if I actually create my own DBhood enchantments from the creation kit and then would it be compatible with that I mean how did you come up with this idea I mean I am upset but i am not upset with any of you guys *sigh* I am upset because I cannot find a fix for this one would it be okay if I use your fix because I want to use your fix so I can adjust the armor stats to my liking as well as the enchantments does that make sense? If not, let me explain more: I cannot find how I am (if this is okay with you if not oh well at least I tried to convince you) going to put this fix onto my own armor stats as well as price and enchantment and the reason why I ask for you info is because this fix is so awful good that it is really kind of hard not to make my own fix so now does that make sense? If so, YES! if not awwwwww well at least I tried

@Arrow Albert, if it doesn't currently work for Orcs, than I'm afraid not :(

@Death, it was actual a pretty simple fix. Since the female version has the mask on it, I just swapped the male model with the female version. That's why there's a clipping issue for males (since female faces are smaller). You're more than welcome to use this mod for your project though if you don't want to do it yourself.

how did u do this? im trying to do this for a mod im working on (it adds armor in the game) and for my theme i need to make it so the mask works on males (not too concerned with beast races)

Doesn't work for orcs

Sometimes when people say "beast races" they only mean argonians and khajiits but sometimes they also mean orcs.
So does this fix work for orcs?

you should make a mod so that if players choose to play as a child that they can wear all armor and not just children clothes
